Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.
It was definitely a different experience. It hasn't been that long since his transformation, and he was already sure that his human wouldn't have minded that sudden increase in power. It wasn't enough though, oh he knew it was never enough. This level was, however, quite pitiful in comparison to the monsters that his human had fought back when he still roamed the outskirts.
Training did have its uses, much like being able to use this body properly, but for the time being he needed to feed himself. There wasn't even the slightest bit of hesitation as the Shadow simply absorbed the lingering energy from one of the many spots that his human once frequented. No one ever bothered asking him why he was there, but it didn't matter. They acted so similarly that nothing might as well have changed.
That, and he did prefer steak than seafood. The wharf was a nice place and all, but maybe a place with more sustenance would be a better choice for next time.
He wanted something meatier than the sea, but unfortunately for the shadow, his newly taken area wasn't exactly that amazing in the meat department. Hell, it didn't even compare to anything meat like as the over all feeling was that of fruits and vegetables. It wasn't all that bad mind you, but it was like he was eating a salad of all things. And we all know how that doesn't give all that much energy for someone who worked out like him.
Trying his best to siphon out the best he could to satiate his current need to feed, the shadow finally stopped after quite a bit of time of moving around. Well, the park wasn't going to be frequented when it came to feeding, that much he knew now. Maybe construction sites would do for something more peppery the next time he tried this.
It was a rather glaring place to try out, where as every other place in this city may have induced some kind of happiness, a measure of hope, and a reason to keep believing in themselves, nothing could clearly crush hopes as much as the business area could. Ironic, seeing as this was the place where people pushed all of their efforts to keep on going, to make sure that whatever it was, they would absolutely do everything in their power to keep themselves, or their people, alive.
Even if it meant playing god.
And thankfully for that, where at the peak of those moments did the strongest emotions arrive, Vice had more than his fill of rampant emotions to satiate his hunger. He of course took a bit more past the sensation of being full, but that was just him being greedy. Still, it was something to go by on, and the quantity was nothing you could scoff at. A good enough back up plan in the case that no other area held that particular thing that he was looking for.
