So, it seemed that the new area that had opened up after that amazing battle was a. . . library. If Shadows were the repressed feelings of humans given shape, and humans naturally repressed anything they considered socially unacceptable- or at least anything that would get in the way of being accepted by their peers- then, if he were particularly adventurous, there was a pretty good chance he would find some amazing sexual texts in the library. This would have made perfect sense, as well. Even for Shadows- actually, no. Shadows never made sense. For all he knew, the books in this library probably were going to be self-help books. Or picture books. Or obscure books written in odd or even inhuman languages detailing the rituals to summon some space squid.

Well, all the same, the crossdresser skipped along towards a couple of bookshelves. Akira had every intention of at least looking into things before smashing Shadows.

A double-decker blast of ice frosted over Akira's ribbons. He blinked. The attacks had been intended to inflict harm, but they had limited success due to his new armor modifications. For a moment, he just stared. Then Alpha Elma slid past him, responding to his will. The Shadows looked absolutely lick-able. And they used ice. Basic RPG sense said “burn them”. So burn them he did. Maragidyne rained over the field, severely injuring the lion and pile driver. Both still carried on. Little champs, that they were, and all. With that, the boy in drag charged forward and twirled, slicing the drive down and leaving the lion to his succubus, who proceeded to latch her lips onto that maw before sucking the life from it.
