As the seconds were going by, Tatsuma was less and less sure how long he would be able to hold out against Rabou. His side still hurt from the first tackle and that smash to the throat was making it hard to breathe. He already knew continuing was a bad decision when Rabou managed to grab his wrist and pull it, but he wouldn’t have wanted to stop his kick and go on the defensive even if he could. He was all about attacks, and he could care less about what injuries he sustained. So he just braced himself to whatever deadly attack was next.
That smash with his shoulder was massive and horrible and oh my god is this guy even human? It hit him square in the chest and was enough to knock out whatever air he managed to get in with that injured throat, so it wasn’t doing any good for his breathing. Tatsuma had the suspicion now that Rabou wanted to make him suffocate with his attacks, and damn, he was doing a good job at it. He was surprised it didn’t break one or two of his ribs, but maybe he was just holding back. Like the rest of the goddamn fight.
He figured he was done for anyway, so he could attempt something flashy for the end. Rabou was massive, and had a steady stance, so after the attack connected, Tatsuma grabbed on the old man’s shoulder with his free arm – the other still in that deadly grip – and kicked his lower body off the ground, all the while pulling himself up and around Rabou’s back to aim at the back of the man’s head. Tatsuma was more agile than the bigger man, and he figured he could manage a kick like that after the man delivered his finisher move.
No matter if he could kick Rabou or not, no matter if the man released his hold on his wrist or not, Tatsuma would probably end up on the ground, laying on his back after that acrobatically challenging move and grit various curses as he held his chest and side.
"God fucking damnit!" But he still had that satisfied grin on his face, even though his throat was barely able to force out that simple sentence.
Action: Attack, and probably down now.
