It really was time Maria went to explore some more of the shadow infested parts of town. Her new persona needed some exercise. She herself needed some too. She explored some more of the outer circle and found a large hole. The path seemed to be very rough and she knew there would be some heavy opposition here. She had some kind of feeling this hole might have something to do with the shadows. Might be worth investigating. Well, all or nothing. She started to walk down the hole. On her guard as ever. So she would now test some of her new abilities. She just hoped they would work.

great another gigas, she surely hadn't seen enough of those. Where these things everywhere she went? She had enough of these guys, they hit so very hard. Luckily they don't have many magic capabilities most of the time. She immediately draw her persona card. "Elf, Magarudyne!" It sounded, strange the other persona users during the full moon boss told the name of the attack too sometimes. It seems it was leaking off on her. Well, it couldn't really hurt, could it? The large amount of wind centered at the place the gigas was standing and imploded to deal a large amount of wind damage. It didn't seem that it did that much damage, but it was effective enough. A few more hits should take it down. It came charging at her! Quickly she fired another Magarudyne. "Persona!" Once more the gigas was hit by a large amount of wind. It reacted by punching her. It's fist also hit hard. Maria flew back a few meters and fell on the ground. She quickly crushed another persona card while lying on the ground. It was all or nothing as if this wouldn't defeat, or at least stagger the opponent, she was done for. She released another gust of wind at shadow. Which destroyed it completely.
