Contrary to her boredom before the last full moon, Anna was back in action and busier than ever. For the last couple days, she'd been scouting in the outer circle, getting a good feel for what shadow-infested areas held what kinds of shadows and how strong they were. Now, however, she needed a break, and made her way back down into the massive pit to kill some time and more shadows. The ones down here, at least, were more fun than the ones in the castle. Even if both of them were weak and she really wished a new area would open up.

Oh well. She could still have fun wrecking masked faces.

A lizard shadow of some sort came to play, rolling in on a row of short spines and narrowly missing Anna as it ramped off the end of the path down. Anna dropped a tornado on it, testing the waters to see if she needed to do anything else before obliterating it. No, the lizard took as much damage as anyone else would. That, to Anna, was good enough. It launched a fireball at her, but Anna managed to concentrate through the pain as she charged up. Stormclouds gathered around Thunderbird, crackling with lightning and whipping up gusts of wind all over the floor of the pit. In response, the lizard tried to roll up and hit her again. It succeeded, miraculously, but doing so put it right at the epicenter of the brewing storm. Wind rushed in from all sides, stirring up into a funnel cloud that caught the lizard in its descent, battering it and slicing at it for a couple seconds before slamming it into the wall of the pit.

It didn't survive the landing.
