Name: Sakuya Kurosawa.
Age: Seventeen.
Date of Birth: November 30th.
Birthplace: Mosaic City.
Gender: Female.
Sexual Orientation: Biromantic Asexual.
Face Claim: Ryuuko Matoi - Kill la Kill.
Appearance: Sup?
Height & Weight: 5'11" / 145 lbs.
Distinguishing Features: Sakuya has scars across her back, various in number. Some are small and some are large.
Class: Persona-user.
Arcana: Chariot.
Occupation: Student, while taking odd jobs here and there around the city.
Weapons and Proficiency: Due to utilizing her fists for most of her life, Sakuya is an excellent hand-to-hand fighter that utilizes a style very similar to Boxing. She'll move her feet into her style when necessary, being very agile and not one to stand in one place for too long, though the style primarily focuses on her fists and how much damage she can do with them. Naturally, because of this, she has a large proficiency toward Strike damage. Even though she was pushed toward Kendo as a child, Sakuya was never a huge fan.
Personality: They say humans grow through life experiences, and Sakuya is no exception. What was once a bright and innocent child has now become a foul mouthed, rebellious brat who only cares about living her life as life dictates. A hedonist who prefers to solve her problems with her fists instead of her words. Despite falling into the loner stereotype with a few of her traits, Sakuya isn't always pissy or goes out of her way to pick fights with people. She's just the kind of person who will use her fists where necessary. Proclaiming herself to be a "defender of the weak", Sakuya's main hobbies are finding bullies and beating the snot out of them, sometimes even getting involved with criminals. Sakuya's self-sacrifice is a very flawed ideal, considering that she can't help someone without first making sure that she's alright. Whenever this is pointed out to her Sakuya claims that she hates people who sacrifice their lives for others. ...She's a hypocrite. Also, she hates men. Like really, really hates men. Not to the level of a feminazi, but she has her reasons. Also she hates being touched, though this extends further to a fear of it. Can you guess why? You can probably guess why and I shouldn't have to state it. Chaotic neutral is probably one of the best alignments that explains Sakuya's personality the best, Sakuya follows her whims, being an individualist first and last. She avoids authority, resents restrictions, and challenges traditions. Sakuya does not intentionally disrupt organizations as part of a campaign of anarchy. To do so, she would have to be motivated either by good (and a desire to liberate others) or evil (and a desire to make those different from herself suffer). She's unpredictable, but her behavior is not totally random. Sakuya is not as likely to jump off a bridge as to cross it, basically.
Likes: Punk Rock, Track, Relaxation, and Phone Conversations.
Dislikes: Men, Rap, Exhaustion, and Studying.
History: Sakuya's life was fraught with tragedy at a young age. Her birth caused the death of her mother, forcing her to move in with her grandfather in Mosaic City. Luckily he was loaded, and Sakuya lived the pampered lifestyle of a rich girl. She never fully got over the death of her mother, however, though she swallowed her sadness to put on a fake smile. After all, why should she burden others with her depression? Sakuya's grandfather showered her with affection and promised that he wouldn't let her be sad over her parents, never having known who her father was. Questions about her mother and father were usually ushered into a different conversation and showering a child with gifts and other miscellaneous stuff wasn't usually the preferred method of raising her. Sakuya was never able to be properly taught about how a proper girl should act, and started to gravitate toward the dark side of humanity. She was pulled from this side by a man's resurgence into her life. He introduced himself as Saego Fujimura, nicknamed Gofu, and started to become a surrogate father figure of Sakuya's. Now she was beginning to be formed into a refined young lady, using the proper honorifics and always having a bright smile on her face. The grandfather was impressed, but every single time he asked for more about the man Sakuya, as a confused kid, wasn't able to answer him all because Gofu had told her not to.
When she finally slipped up and explained everything she knew about Gofu to her grandfather she was scolded and beaten, forbidden from meeting up with Gofu ever again. Behind the scenes, Gofu confronted Sakuya's grandfather, after a meeting between the two revealed what he had done. Right in front of Sakuya, Gofu claimed that his real name was Kugo Kurosawa, Sakuya's blood father, and that he was taking her back. Torn between the two, Sakuya had no choice but to go and live with Kugo. For the next few years Sakuya would constantly argue with her father, who was an alcoholic in his spare time. Talk about creepy, right? This was when the rebellious phase of Sakuya's life began, and the troubles only continued to pile on. Wishing the best for her, Sakuya's grandfather would constantly send her money which was stolen by Kugo. Confrontation over this caused Sakuya to be mercilessly attacked, and... well, you guessed it. Something I'm not fit to mention here. This embedded the hatred of men and fear of being touched in Sakuya's mind, and after informing her grandfather of this her father was taken away by the police and she moved back in with him. For the next few years, Sakuya was unable to come to terms with her confused feelings surrounding her grandfather and father. She was unable to decide if the Sakuya she was now was how she truly felt, or if she had simply been molded into a puppet by her relatives. Suicidal tendencies brought her, just a few months ago, to exit the safe circle back into the zone of Shadows. She had heard of the lockdown the past few months ever since it happened, but the whole thing just sort of... moved over her like a cool breeze. Why the hell should she have cared about it? It intrigued her like it would have anyone else her age, and there had been times in the past week she had tried to sneak her way in... But this was different. This time, she was successful. ...And then she ran into them. The black masses from hell themselves. Shadows.
Able to defend herself to a point, nearing death Sakuya's life flashed before her eyes and a memory related to something her grandfather had told her that her mother said kicked up: Never forget who you are, no matter who your parents were. This caused her to scream out the words "Like hell I'll die!" to the Shadow. Suddenly, a gun shaped object was slid across the floor with a man shouting at Sakuya to use it. Something inside of her told her to use it, sure... but the mysterious figure hadn't expected her to go ahead and shoot herself in the head with it! Pow! Her Persona was summoned and Aífe, the famous Celtic warrior, fended off the Shadows. But that was all Sakuya could take, passing out shortly afterward. To her surprise, awakening, her eyes were met with her grandfather. Unsure of what he had seen, he barked at Sakuya to never again go into that dangerous place and regarded her as a "freak". Most of her time, nowadays, is spent attempting to live on her own and not use the money that her grandfather keeps pushing at her despite how much of a dick he is, more so to gain independence from him as well as live the life of an ethical hedonist: the idea that all people have the right to do everything in their power to achieve the greatest amount of pleasure possible to them.
