Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Akira progressed further into the mines. His recent victory boosted his morale, just like the new accessory in his pocket did. He knew it was just like an RPG- it was just the item that was assisting him, not his actual power- but he still felt good about it all. He pushed up his glasses with the back of his hand. He held the grips of his scissors in his left hand. His right hand rested in his hoodie's pocket, tracing over the booster. His pace was casual. Confidence mixed with caution kept him going at a good pace. His pulse picked up. He wanted to see what came next. He wanted to push himself- exceed his limits, grow stronger, and end this game.
If only it was just that simple. Go beat a few beasties, grind some levels, then beat the boss.

As the boy in drag proceeded, he found himself diving low to avoid some bunch of terrible spikes. Death had attempted to rain down upon him. The source seemed to be some feminine form reclined in a chair. He freed his evoker from his hoodie while twisting and turning on the ground, releasing Imp while rising. He wasn't just going to let an enemy take him out like that. Seemed like a powerful opponent, sure, but it was just one- just like before. All he needed to do was keep his wits about him.
”Agilao, Imp! Burn the witch!” The gnarled cretin extended its arm after managing to mount the boy's shoulders. Where Agi had been the growth of small flames, Agilao caused the Persona's arm to light aflame before it condensed in its hand and shot at the enemy, exploding with enough force that even the boy could feel it from where he stood. The woman seemed bothered, but she waved her hand dismissively before lights glowed around her, suddenly forming a brief image of a curled wall. Was that supposed to be reflective magic? Well, shit. This was an RPG. Tell-tale signs of the spell lingered. Was it permanent? Temporary? Whatever the case, he charged in. That accessory in his pocket would make it count!
Putting both arms into a powerful up-left diagonal slash, he allowed to momentum to continue into a full-body twirl, drawing him into a right-to-left slash. The witch upon the seat howled. The air around the boy grew cold. It was coming, but he was off balance. Even though he fell back in an attempt to avoid the burst of ice, he received the blast upfront. The damage was pretty bad. A second one would be pretty dangerous. But he had no intentions of letting it go on like that. Why? Because he saw it- that glimmering magic had vanished. That meant it could potentially reflect or null magic, as his physical attack connected just fine.
”Again with Agilao!” The midget sent another burst of flame as the boy regained his footing. The woman howled before slinging an attack just like her opening move at the boy. He was in motion by the time it was coming. Gripping his scissors with both hands, he whirled just enough to the side that the attack safely grazed him. Then, leaping at that haughty little harlot, he spread the jaws of his scissors. Snap! Went the blades as they crunch and sliced the Shadow's neck, severing the connection from head to body. Gravity finally pulled the seat down. Rolling off of the mass, he hit the ground and steadied himself, giving the area a look over while giving Imp an order to use Dia. He needed to keep himself fresh, regardless of how the situation played out.

Akira found no lucky item on his second strike of the day. Shame. Fight warranted a nice treasure. Whatever the case, it seemed that Imp had finished healing the boy's wounds. Good. That was great. He and the gnarly midget made their way back towards the entrance. There was no reason to push their luck. If they encountered something that could nail his weakness with that kind of force, then there was no telling what else was there. Not only that, there was the chance that there were simply more of those things waiting on ahead. That was not something that the boy wanted to risk.
He wasn't necessarily afraid of death. He just didn't want to die. Too much to do. Too much to see.
And who the hell would finish his work for him?
Nah. He couldn't take risks. Best to play it safe.
