Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

A day had passed since his last trip to the terminal. This time, Akira planned on making some progress. Hopefully, he wouldn't wake up the full nest of nasties in one go. The sad fact was that it would likely occur just like that again. Guerrilla tactics would work if he had a means of healing himself. He lacked just that at the present, though. He kind of wanted to get another weapon- while he trusted his body to handle what he was fighting, the chance that things would be too tough for his hands later on was definitely there. Plus, he remembered touching the ones he fought yesterday. They felt disgusting. Like, gut-squirmingly disgusting. At least, to him. Of course, it appealed to a couple of his fetishes, but still.
Partially out of fear for his clothing, he had deigned to wear something a bit more sporty than before. From the waist down, he had red jogging pants, standard-length socks, and simple white tennis shoes. Up top, a simple T-shirt with adequate bulk and an unzipped jacket. The jacket was already well-worn, so, even if it was slightly damaged, he wouldn't fret. He made his way into the tunnels, stretching slightly. He felt good, despite the fight yesterday. How far would he get today? That was the question. He just needed to take it nice and slow.

The youth pressed onward into the darkness, spreading the folds of the shadows and keeping his vigil for any signs of danger. So far, so good. But Murphy's Law said that wouldn't be the case for much longer, and, sure enough, as soon as the thought went through the boy's head, it seemed to be the case. Given a few seconds, the boy managed to make out his opponents. Similar to the ones from yesterday, these Shadows were about the same as before. If experience was anything to go by, they would likely each have different strengths and weaknesses. This raised an entirely different question.
One looked goofy. One looked intent on fighting. One appeared to not give a damn. So, Silly, Serious, and Apathetic. In reverse, their initials were A-S-S. Like the butt of a bad joke, the boy in drag shook his head. If that was the case, he might as well have had some fun with it, right? He reached into his jacket, retrieving his toy gun. It was just a gut feeling, was all. Probably because of the joke in his head. Regardless, he planted the barrel against his head and pulled the trigger, releasing Imp into the world again. It was time to get started.
”Agi on the gaper over there, Imp.” He commanded, charging in alongside the burst of fire. If his previous fight was anything to learn from, it was that using his enemies as a shield was effective. Very effective. Agi connected, and the blob flinched. That was good. He noticed a flicker of red coming from one of the S's over there. Probably another fire ball. His hands shot at the stunned turd blob. It was hot from the Agi, but he could deal with it. He whirled, gaining momentum, and slung the mass at the incoming fireball. Dealt damage to the enemy and protected himself from it. Actually, no. It was even better than that. The Shadow burst into flames- straight up burned away. So the terms of battle were two-on-one. ASS was just SS now. Like a ship. And these two? They were sailing for a crossdressin' asskickin'. And while it was all well and good to make jokes in his head, the Silly-S was shooting at him through the air. Yeah, that totally made sense. And it took him by surprise. He crossed his arms before him to protect himself, taking the blow with a grunt and a stumble. He steadied himself, but his arms throbbed. Hurt like a bitch.
Stretching his arms out, he readied himself. S for Silly was his target, since it was there. He kneed it in the mask, but the resistance he met exceeded his expectations. It resisted physical blows? Well, son of a bitch. His failure of an attack also left him open to an arm sweep from the Shadow. As a result, he lost his footing, falling on his rear. Some guys would have loved the sight of him like that. Probably some of the more lecherous girls, too. Around came Serious-S. What a drag. It swung its arm at him, but he rolled out of the way and quickly got back on his feet. He dusted himself off and clicked his tongue. One resisted physical blows- or at least his punches. The other, likely, resisted fire. Well, the threat from fire was lesser. That meant Silly-S needed to be neutralized first. He could- hopefully- at least punch Serious-S.
”Agi on this goofball!” He hopped back and pointed at the Silly-S. Silly was stunned momentarily, but, behind him, light began to grow. So this Shadow had access to both fire and light moves? Well, shit. When did the difficulty get turned up? He rolled in towards Silly-S to use it as a shield. Thrusting his foot upwards, he pushed the Shadow's neck upwards, treating it like a hook to heft up a canvas. The light struck Silly-S. Knocked it. . . silly, even. Of course, Silly-S was pissed. It swung its arms at him, the blobby masses cutting through the air between his legs. Well, that was a bit too close for comfort, even with the preparation he took for his safety.
”Agi, again!” He called, receiving a fireball-burning-Shadow in response. Kicking the neck back and rolling to his feet, he took up a basic boxing stance against his final opponent- Serious S. The Shadow prepared another fireball, and Akira charged through it. He crossed his arms at the last minute, keeping the majority of the heat on his arms, and then slung the refuse away. They still burned, of course. His sleeves smelled mildly burnt, as well. Good thing he dressed appropriately this time around. It was the final round, and it was about to be a beat down.
The boy in drag opened up with a left hook, then whirled, slamming his right leg alongside its “neck”. Finally, he twirled anew, drawing his leg up all the way before dropping his heel on its head. Perhaps he knocked something loose inside, but the critter prepared another Agi. Didn't he realize it wasn't the best option? Then again, Akira certainly couldn't complain. Worked for him. By that point, Imp was close by. Akira grabbed it and held it up as a shield to take the Shadow's Agi. A successful guard, if there ever was one. His head throbbed, but it was better than his sleeves being burned further. He carefully tossed Imp to the side- if such a thing was possible- before charging forward.
A quick jab of the foot to the Shadow's throat-region-thing opened up the next combo. He wasn't sure if it would do anything to a non-human entity, but it would serve as an informational tidbit. Then, swinging his elbow down while dropping to a squat, he slammed the bony joint into the top of its head before whirling at the angle and slamming his leg into the Shadow's side. Another basic combination, but it was a solid means of dealing some okay damage. Agi was probably better in terms of raw power, but this thing was probably resistant to it, going by its favoritism towards it. The boy waited, but the Shadow gradually dissolved, leaving him alone with Imp.

With a stretch and a nod, the boy in drag smiled. Seemed like all was good. And, surprisingly, he didn't alert the horde. Well, things were just looking up, weren't they? Fight went better, in comparison, than the one yesterday, and he wasn't stepping on the heels of an army of darkness. Yeah, sounded pretty good. He motioned for Imp and nodded. No need to retreat just yet. No harm in actually getting the exploring he wanted to do done. They just needed to be cautious. So long as they kept their guard up, all would be fine.
Probably.
That said, the pair of crossdresser and gnarly midget-man proceeded further into the terminal's cavern. They might have even managed to make it to the Gap if they played their cards right.
