Having recovered from her last foray into the outer circle, the brunette knew it was time to gather up her wits about her and get going again. Grabbing her shock & water proof camera, along with her needles, a notepad and a small backpack of supplies (and a little more room, in case she found anything along the way), Chidori consulted her partially-drawn map, from the last time. Well, actually, she consulted a copy of her original map - something more rough and less valuable that she could take in the field until she completed a bigger portion of the cartography. As she approached the sewers after slipping carefully past the faux military blockade, the brunette retraced her previous path, planning to use a simple dead-end cycle technique, where she followed her routes to either a dead-end or a separate exit/entrance, noting it down and then tracing back to the most recent fork and following it through, until she had exhausted all of the open forks and tunnels. Then, and only then, would she begin investigating the different exits/entrances, just in case she got lost from there.
Besides, it gave her plenty to do whilst she explored.
After her last experience down here, the mute was on guard from the get-go, her customised outfit holding needles with ease of access whilst she methodically took pictures of the unexplored portions of her route. She'd quickly navigated to her furthest point of exploration, where the battle with the mage-shadow had gown down, and continued on, pressing forward with a determination that had begun to build. She would do her best to investigate the mystery, and perhaps one day contact her family again. If nothing else, her burning desire to help other aware, and even the unaware, people escape whatever this mess of a situation was, drove her forward. Lucia's presence in the back of her mind kept her calm and collected, ready to act should she stumble across a shadow. Between her notes, photos and memory, Chidori would even be able to gather information on the enemy - to the best of her ability at present anyway.
Of course, she still rounded corners cautiously; a lesson learned from the last encounter.
