Perhaps it was a useful by-product of exploration, or maybe a task she could carry out to help her along with her investigation. Or perhaps, it was simply just junk she had no use for. Nonetheless, between exploring and taking some downtime to specifically search for useful odds & ends in the outer circle, Chidori had acquired a collection of items she had no need of, and were beginning to clutter her backpack and apartment. That was why, after digging around a little, she managed to stumble across a useful little place at the border of the outer circle that had somehow escaped unscathed. Inside, a woman who was mysteriously well-informed offered a number of services, one of which happened to be the appraising & possible purchasing of items collected from the Shadowlands. Whether it was an act of generosity or simply a desire to gather what little remained from the dead zone, the brunette did not look the apparent gift horse in the mouth as she offered up what she had found.
Most of the junk were personal items that had been slightly damaged or hidden in nooks & crannies, or supplies that had managed to survive mostly intact. Silently, she waited for the blonde woman to assess the 'goods', not bothering to make any sort of bartering or haggling since she was being done a favour more or less. No, instead she chose to watch on with those observant chocolate-brown eyes, studying the woman and her residence, wondering who else had come through here, doing much the same as she had. She knew for a fact now that she wasn't the only one searching; the brunette had run into another person out in the ruins, scavenging around in the same manner. The woman had called herself Alisa, and their meeting gave her some hope that she wasn't alone in her situation. It also gave her access to a lot more information than before, thanks to the latter's site and previous dealings with others who knew the secret of the faux military.
Nevertheless, these thoughts crossed her mind only as a way to pass time. Hopefully, what she offered up would be satisfactory, and she could put the funds to good use in her investigation. If it went well...she could always return periodically to offload such finds, and further her capability to explore.
