After her last encounter, Chidori was of two minds; part of her was eager to prove to herself that she could be smarter, and that more practise would help in the long run. The other part of her really didn't relish the idea of coming across another one of those slashing Tiaras. Nevertheless, the former won out in the end, and after some recovery time, she packed her exploration gear, gathered her needles (which most of her normal salary was going towards paying for - good thing they were so damned cheap to replace) and held her head high as she sneaked across the border and located the same sewer entrance she'd used each time. So far, she'd managed to explore a pretty definitive route, taking the left hand forks each time.
Hence, it didn't take long to catch up to where she left off, and thankfully, no sight of the shadows that had previously plagued her. In fact, she actually kept going for a good half hour, until she reached the extreme-left dead-end route. With a slight smile, she photographed the end-point (which was basically a solid stone wall with a large grated hole at the floor in front of it) and noted down the basic route, and what was at the end. Then, she retraced her steps to the last fork and took the other path, still keeping to the left until she once again hit another dead-end, though there was no grate this time, and it was only another 5 minutes of walking. On & on this process was carried out, until she'd spent a good two hours exploring and managed to avoid any sign of shadows. Maybe, just maybe, Lady Luck was on her side for now? At least, until she became a fickle mistress again.
At any rate, Chidori began the process once more at another fork after a quick break to drink some water, eyes keen and her corner-taking slow & cautious.
