The strange blonde woman from the building near the terminal offered a number of services, though she'd only really made use of the pawn shop side of things. Until now. Mysterious as ever, it seemed she put up a number of requests relating to shadows for the most part, one of which grabbed her eye as she'd been perusing through the junk to see if anything was of value to sell. For the most part, she liked the woman - she conveniently offered to buy pretty much whatever the mute found in the West Mosaic City ruins, and at a fair price given that really, it was mostly junk. Offering 'missions' like these were just the icing on the cake.
The one that caught her chocolate brown gaze however, was the one that pertained to a special kind of shadow - endangered - that seemed to sparkle. Apparently one had been seen roaming around the ruins, and the blonde woman wanted her to take care of it, to put things nicely. It would be a nice break from hunting around the sewers, and she'd been wanting to do something a bit tougher since the battle at the graveyard. She had mostly support abilities however, which is why she initially hesitated, debating within the confines of her mind about the wisdom of taking up such an endeavour. In the end, with some prodding from Lucia & her confident side, Chidori expressed her interest in the job and after clearing it with the assigner, set out into the ruins.
Which is how she found herself stalking amongst the wrecked buildings, under an oppressively purple sky. It reminded her somewhat of the first day she'd been in the outer circle, having stumbled across the shadows and consequently fled until she was cornered. Lucia had come to the rescue that day, though the brunette was aware that really, it was just a part of herself that she was utilising to combat the new situation. Her desire to be stronger, to help and not be so helpless, pushed her forward along a path of growth. This task was just another step along that path, and so she kept her gaze peeled for shadows, both rare and normal alike, ready to summon her princess persona at the drop of a hat.
