The place was as dark as ever and Vice couldn't help but follow the urge to create a small cinematic in his head. It could even be considered a cutscene where the main hero has to go through the dark tunnels in order to get the objective of the quest. Though Vice was never really one to play video games since he didn't have all that much time, it didn't mean that the things they did in them never caught his fancy. So like a good adventurer, the young man made sure to equip himself to the teeth. Bringing with him a bag pack with food and water if he ever had to take a break in searching, both of his firearms if he ever lost one in the process of finding his objective, and his swords in the case that some of the monsters that roamed these halls wanted to be a bit more touchy feely with him. With that more or less readied for him, all the young man had to do now was find the train, get inside said train, and look over the compartments at the front in order to find the memento that the conductor had left behind.
He didn't exactly know why the strange lady wanted it but since it gave him rewards, it didn't really matter all that much to him. Hopefully the rewards themselves would be adequate with the bullshit he'll most likely be facing around these parts. Rubbing his hands together to stave off some of the cold that had been creeping up on him, Vice continued down to follow the trails in order to find just where the vehicle had stopped. It was a huge thing, he was pretty sure, and he doubted he'd be able to miss it even if he was completely blind. Provided that was an exaggeration, but Vice wondered just why he was trying to explain that to himself. It was probably the atmosphere. The air probably made everyone prone to talking to themselves in third person mentally or something.
Still, internal monologue or not, Vice continued down the halls and began to increase his pace when the figure of the vehicle finally came into view. Hopefully getting there would be the more difficult part of this mission. He'd honestly rather not spend hours looking for some person's sentimental junk.
