The lunch bell had rung, following the end of the current class period. Luka wasn't in any particular hurry to get down to the cafeteria like the other students. Well, that was always the case given that she made her own lunch for herself everyday. But today, she had packed just a bit more than usual. And for her destination? That was different as well. Rather than eat on the roof of the building like usual, the girl decided to eat in the Student Council Room. After all, she was the Vice-President of the school. She was still trying to get used to that fact, having stayed out of the spotlight for the majority of her high school life. It was an odd feeling. Finally reaching the Student Council Room, the girl opened the door slowly and peered in, looking for the one person who would likely be in here.
Ah. Akira. The Student Council President seemed to be here as expected. Honestly, it was a good thing that he was here considering it was the only reason she came here in the first place. The incident from a little while ago came to mind. It was quite the ordeal for her, and probably for him as well. He had ended up doing quite a bit for her sake, which resulted in not only "saving" her, but awakening her to her new persona. That was why today, Luka wanted to try and express her gratitude as best she could.
She sat down at the table across from him. The room was peaceful. Empty. Well, not empty. But it was without disturbance. It was a nice atmosphere, to her. She coughed lightly to get his attention before sliding an old fashion lunch box over towards his side of the table. I wanted to thank you some way for helping me the other day. I know you were only doing your duty as student council president and following your own beliefs, but I still wished to thank you. She looked down at the lunch box she presented. It's not much, but I made some extra lunch alongside my own for today. She wore her straightforward expression as she spoke, hoping that he would at least accept the lunch. For all she knew, he probably had some sort of excuse as to why he couldn't eat it. In fact, she partially expected that. But knowing that people loved homemade things, Luka figured he might change his mind upon seeing what was inside.
