After their last little tryst with that Crocodile creep of a shadow, Chidori had been somewhat reluctant to return so soon, but she knew she needed to. It was similar to how she'd had to psych herself up after being cut by one of the regular shadows when they ganged up on her. Eventually, her responsible and duty-bound side won out, and she packed up her gear, checked her needles and then set off for the sewers, keen to keep exploring; there wasn't much left of the first area she'd been through - that probably explained why the larger shadow had made its entrance. However, there was a few tunnels left unexplored, and they might lead further on; the mute had to finish the map after all.
Skirting across the border and through the tunnels entrance with practised ease, the brunette descended into the sewer system. Checking her map, she didn't take long to find the last few tunnels that she needed to map out. All in all, it was fairly quiet down here now, which was a nice change of pace. However, her prickling sense of anxiety told her there was something down one of those tunnels, and the sewers sure didn't disappoint; an archway at the end of a larger tunnel clearly looked like the entrance to a deeper set of tunnels, perhaps where the bigger storm drains flowed into.
Taking a quick break to finish of the first level map, Chidori flipped her sketchbook to a fresh set of pages, took a deep breath, and then began the rough cartography process all over again with the second area, her chocolate brown eyes cautiously scanning around for any signs of shadows.
