Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Once again she made her way to the second area, skirting around the smaller tunnels she'd mapped out to avoid encountering shadows that might have filtered back into the first level. This time, she was just a little bit more prepared - her abilities had improved again, and hopefully would allow her to manage a group fight better. If that occurred again, anyway. Nevertheless, the mute was on her guard as always, quickly becoming used to the process of exploring, fighting, mapping and scavenging. She briefly wondered how far these tunnels stretched beneath the ruins - how many other areas were there? Well, she'd find out eventually. Chidori was turning into a kind of completionist over this cartography idea, wanting to fully clear an area before she moved onto to somewhere else. Eventually, she would though, once the sewers had been fully explored.
Not to mention, there was that odd occurrence of a much larger shadow appearing; from what she'd gathered, it wasn't the first time it had happened, and it seemed to have something to do with the full moon so far - two encounters didn't exactly constitute perfect evidence for a pattern, but it was something to be ready for nonetheless. If they could keep tackling it as a group effort, perhaps this whole mess would be easier to solve.
Focusing her mind on the present, the brunette kept Lucia's presence close, ready to summon her should shadows make their appearance.

Her caution paid off when, once again, she got the drop on the shadows rather than the other way around; they weren't exactly quiet as they moved around. However, Chidori did note in the back of her mind that these two shadows were utterly different from anything she'd faced so far - one was actually two people joined together by what looked like metal rods through their limbs, whilst the other was a woman situated ontop of a floating pyramid. Honestly, these things could be so weird sometimes.
Summoning Lucia around her, the brunette attacked without much hesitation, utilising her new skill - Mahama. Enhanced by the star-shaped hairpin that she now rarely ever took off, it was bound to do a decent amount of damage if they weren't resistant. and it would hit both of them simultaneously as well! The Idol shadow recoiled but recovered its balance fairly quickly, but the Twins went flying, smacking into the side wall of the tunnel they were all in, slumping to the ground. Fortunately for Chidori it seemed that neither were resistant, and in fact, one was even weak to Light.
Not that it stopped her from getting zapped by the Idol's counter-attack. By this point however, the brunette was getting so used to being electrocuted that it didn't throw her very much anymore, even if it did hurt and make her limbs occasionally spasm. Not letting up, the mute continued her wicked assault, attacking both (even though one was already somewhat downed) with a blast of light. The Twins were goners, bursting into purple smoke that soon dissipated, whilst the pyramid-woman barely held on, returning once again with a vengeance. However, Chidori was ready this time, rolling to the side and out of the way - the attack still clipped her, but did far less than a direct hit; her cardio was really starting to pay off.
Like a hell-bent angel, she struck again with all her holy might, smiling just a little as she watched the Idol hit the ground, twitch a few times and then begin to disappear. With the shadows now handled, she was free to do a little more exploring and mapping before she returned to the surface, much happier today than she had been after an exploration, for awhile.
