Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Could it really be called an abandoned subway with the Shadows still lingering around? Then again most people inside of the city were unaware of the Shadow's threat. They were just told to stay away from the tunnel, though it seemed like a route many could take to gain access outside of the city. It was expected, since it was easy to get in one way and get out the other. He couldn't say the same exactly for the Shadows however. When he had arrived, he hadn't seen any other humans around so at least he could take care of what threat the Shadows posed to the city in secret. That, after all, was one of his mission requirements. Icarus stepped carefully through the tunnel, avoiding most of the garbage and other items left carelessly by humans prior to the shut down of the Subway system.
It was fairly quiet, even the strange echos of the tunnel were dull at this time. It was one reason to be on guard, especially in a place lingering with shadows. However, he had been trained to fight these creatures before. He'd done it at least once, though even then it hadn't ended as well as he had wanted. Nonetheless, he would carry out his duty of justice upon these creatures. They didn't belong in the human's world, and he had been created for that purpose to eliminate them. His body tensed as he scanned the area around him, waiting for some sign of movement beyond his own.

As soon as he took another step, the creature appeared before him. The creature was tall, at least taller than him, and looked at him almost soullessly. He wasn't sure if he was in the right to describe it as such, but nonetheless it had to be eliminated. His scale was off the chart now, painting over the creature in a big red ten. His eyes adjusted as he readied himself into Battle mode against the creature. Luckily for him it was only one rather than a horde of Shadows. His hand extended and curled inward as he prepared himself.
The creature was quick to strike first, sending out a Zio attack straight away. The burst of lightning hit Icarus, but he wasn't too badly damaged. His fingers extended before they sliced off, revealing instead of flesh but gun barrels. He stepped back a little, planting his feet firmly into the ground as he aimed for the Shadow. It was still writing around, readying it's own attack while Icarus prepared his shot. He finally fired four bullets off, his arm twisting back from the recoil of the shot.
The four bullets flew quickly through the air, though the creature was quick to dodge them. He only saw one land an actual hit on the creature, it groaning as it slunk off to the side. He quickly rubbed his arm, reloading himself while the creature sent out another lightning bolt. This time Icarus managed to just barely miss the attack, side stepping quickly to the edge of the tunnel. Being inside this tunnel didn't leave him much room to attack or dodge the creature's movements. He readied himself, closing his eyes to summon his persona.
"Macha..." He uttered her name, and the bird creature appeared with a caw. The Spoony Magus took the opportunity to release another Zio attack, though Icarus was ready to use an attack as well.
"Garu!" He called out, his other hand outstretched. Macha did as commanded, wings flapping hard to build up a large gust of wind towards the creature. It howled in pain at the wind Damage, but it didn't seem to be down for the count. Icarus took this opportunity while it was stunned to fire at it again, firing at least twice. Though each time he had done so, he found himself moving back a few paces from the recoil. His arm was slightly hurting, but he ignored it for the most part. The Shadow growled as it was hit, though it seemed it was much tougher than Icarus had anticipated, or perhaps that he was weaker than he thought.
It gave an eerie groan before suddenly Icarus felt himself being hit with large shards of ice. He called out in pain, finding himself slightly crippled by the attack. It had been his weak point. He heard Macha calling out in cries of pain, but the bird above him still held onto its sword and floated above him. He tried to move, but found his body starting to signal warning signs of system damage. He cursed lowly, finding the Spoony Magus looming over him by now. It's face was as blatant as ever, but there was no possible way he could lose now.
He reached up his hand, firing another four bullets into the creature causing it to be stunned. Just as he was about to fire another round, he heard a familiar click but nothing happening after he had reloaded. Damn. He was out. He flicked his wrist to return his hand back to normal, though the Spoony Magus had seemed to recover from the damage. It definitely looked weakened now, at least that could count for something. He still could use Macha, but he was wary on using it. He was starting to feel his processor become sluggish from the first use, and he was unsure if he could finish it off now. The creature fired another lightning bolt, though this time it had landed on him squarely. Icarus shuddered back from the attack, positioning himself in a somewhat defensive position.
"Hama!" He found himself calling out, thrusting an arm forward. The bird Persona screeched before a mystical energy formed around the creature. The Shadow took this opportunity to launch itself at Icarus, but the Light attack had hit it just in time to strike the final blow. It was enough damage to make the creature dissipated into thin air making the tunnel quiet again
