Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Due to the constant outings, which typically led to any number of battles, Nisha had been growing in strength at a rapid pace. To say that she felt leagues more powerful than when she had first begun heading out into the Shadow-infested areas would have been putting it lightly. She felt stronger and lighter on her feet in a way that she could not quite explain. Perhaps it would have been easier to say that the presence of Shadows was less bothersome? Either way, it didn't matter too much, as she was not verbally expressing it to another person. So long as she knew that she felt more and more comfortable wandering through the area, all was well. Or that was what she figured, at the very least.
Taking a look around the interior of the factory, the young woman took in a deep breath. Hardly refreshing, but she didn't feel worried. Nodding slightly, she tightened her grip on the crowbar before pressing into the darkness.

As the young woman proceeded further into the factory, two Shadows appeared. Neither of them looked particularly noteworthy, at least not by Shadow-standards. If one were to go by human standards, then, by all means, the two were strange. One was a pair that danced together. Not once did they split, though, so it was reasonable to assume that it was a singular entity, like the two prisoners skewered together she had observed during some surveys. The other was a massive wheel. In either case, they were Shadows, and Shadows often had powers that one would not expect simply by looking at them. In that case, she could not let her guard down. No, she needed to address the both of them as if they were serious threats.
She focused and drew her card into reality. Then, gripping and shattering it, she brought forth Shango. The taller entity, responding to the woman's will, focused its energy before giving off a pulse of kinetic and thermal energy. Heat Wave swarmed over the area and smashed into both of the Shadows, taking them by surprise. The pair was stunned. The wheel seemed to be charging up for another attack. The woman simply willed another Heat Wave. It seemed effective enough the first time around, so why not? The second burst of energy ripped through the area, and the pair exploded into inky blackness. The wheel, however, was still in the fight and tried to ram into the woman. Shango intercepted the blow and protected her. Physically, she was fine, but a phantom pain ripped through her head and body. She nodded. It was time to test another method out on this Shadow. Her other new ability could be utilized.
The deity placed its hands together and static energy sparked to life between the large forms. This growing energy lit up the area for a moment as it went wild. Then, focused, it became a ball of lightning, which was lobbed at the wheel. The lightning ripped through the wheel, destroying the insides, and caused it, too to explode into inky blackness. The fight seemed to be over. It was. . . oddly invigorating for it to have been so. . . easy? She couldn't quite explain it. Perhaps it was just relief that she seemed to be handling herself a bit better.

The battle was indeed over, as no reinforcements came. It seemed that there was nothing left in the Shadows' wake, either. Nodding to herself, she put her hands together in prayer for the Shadows. Perhaps they would be graced with new life one day. Perhaps they would not. Either way, he well-wishing put no one in harm's way. With a silent sigh, the giant gave her surroundings a survey before nodding once more and proceeding further into the factory. She was still in relatively good shape. If she paced herself, she'd be able to get plenty done without putting herself in danger. With Shango's new strength and her own growing power, she doubted anything would be much of a threat when applying a bit of caution.
Perhaps she was born with that strength solely for this purpose?
