Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Akira pressed further into the cathedral of Shadows with little hesitation. He knew better than to let his guard down. Since the last major skirmish, he had healed himself and renewed his Rakukaja barrier. His progression was entirely driven by his desire to grow and strengthen himself. The boy guarded his left side with his gigantic scissors. His right was protected by his Persona. Progression slowly came to a halt once the boy reached an intersection. One path continued straight- basically a straight-shot from the exit. The other went further into the depths of the structure. Which was the best path? Either way, he could have been attacked from behind. Was turning back and fleeing the best choice? He remained still before slowly shifting and putting his back to a wall. That way, while he could think, he could also cover his six.

With progression in an RPG, one was often met with new gear, new enemies, plot developments, and, usually, some form of annoyance. With his progression as a Persona-user, he had encountered the first three. The fourth was typically a constant. That was why the boy was hardly surprised when an enemy came from both of his potential path choices. One was similar to the Shadow he battled after Alma Elma came into existence. The other was. . . different on pretty much every level. It looked ridiculous. How it was even approaching him was beyond logic- but Shadows as a whole seemed to be, so that was negligible. The boy knew better than to give the Shadows a chance to actually notice him, then plan. He was going to go straight into attacking.
The boy surged towards the castle-thing. Alma Elma, reacting to his desires, spewed an Agilao out at the Shadow, setting it aflame. Still burning, the Shadow suddenly bent over. It then tried to “punch” the boy with its massive head-torso-thing. He was used to enemies trying to punch him. That was why he whirled along the Shadow's side, tracing his scissors' blade across the side with little difficulty. Alma Elma immediately dropped another Agilao on it from above. The other opponent seemed to have charged itself, still approaching closer. That was all well and good, but Akira had no intentions of allowing himself to be hit. The tower shifted its rear and fired off a blast of wind. The boy bent backwards as the gust ripped through the air above him and slammed into the tower. That would have been a crappy thing to be hit by. Meanwhile, the other opponent was in mid-attack, seeming to try to cut the boy with its. . . heads. The boy just rolled along the floor out of the way, letting the castle take the blow and burst into blackness. One down, one to go.
Akira took a moment to consider the enemy. Not much of a reason to doubt the effectiveness of physical attacks yet, so as he ran with his scissors ready, he had Alma Elma prepare a Skewer. Like the knight just a while ago, the facial tower had two dancing partners, and neither was prepared to let it back out. Slashes, stabs, punches, and kicks all around the Shadow led to a quick victory for the boy and his succubus. He took a couple of hits along the way, but nothing Mediarama couldn't fix.

With another group of Shadows gone and done with, the boy relaxed. It would be best to pull back. He had already dealt with four Shadows on his own, and this was entirely virgin enemy territory. There was no telling what else was lying in wait. Nodding to himself, he turned on his heel and proceeded back towards the entrance. With Alma Elma at his side and his scissors in his hands, there was little to fear so long as he was careful. Still, it would be best to not provoke the ire of the "momma bear" too soon. He was not capable of a solo raid yet. It was questionable if he ever would be.
