Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Maria was waiting outside the terminal. She didn't want to get caught entering a restricted area. It wouldn't be good for her reputation or criminal record if she was caught. Anyway, she found an old rusty katana in a random antique shop somewhere in the city. It still cut, though only a little. She wasn't sure it would work on a gaint, stronger shadow. But on the one she met a few days ago it should work. Once Maria made sure the coast was clear she entered the Super Hiroshige Terminal.
It was not used at the moment. Well that was obvious from the outside. She had to think back about that kid. If she arrived only a few seconds later. She didn't want to think to much about it. It was dark as always in here. You could see around a bit, but it was difficult. She waited a few moments at the entrance to let her eyes get used to the darkness. She went further as she could see better now. She had to face these creatures today. If she decided to run today she would most likely never get enough courage together to face them again. She searched either for a shadow or answers to her power.

She wasn't going for long till she heard something. Only a little thing. Something was crawling behind her. She turned around immediately and saw a white masked shadow. It was almost the same as the one she saw earlier except the color of the mask. She took a deep breath and drew her blade. "Okay, here I go!" She said to herself as she stared running towards the shadow. She was so focused on the the shadow in front of her she didn't see another shadow standing aside the white masked one. This one had a black mask and it was more difficult to see. This wasn't going to be easy there were two of them. She was hit by a dark blast from the black masked one. It hit her left shoulder. The pain was going through her body. aww. that hurt. "I can do it. Persona!" Maria said as she crushed a card and the small Pixie appeared and blasted a strong gust of wind at the black masked shadow. It was hit, but not defeated. She noticed the white masked one coming closer. Maria was just in time to block it's melee attack with her katana, to immediately slash it's mask with it afterwards. It seemed to be hurt, but again not defeated. She thus stroke again to finish it. She pierced the mask with a devastating blow. Or so she would but she missed and the shadow jumped back. Out of range of the katana.
They both were hurt, but this wasn't over yet. The black masked one fired another dark spell at her while the white one tried to make distance. Maria had no choice to move as another hit could be dangerous. It still hit her in her left arm though. But only a little and it wasn't lethal or anything. It still hurt though, if she wasn't in fight she might have wondered how it's possible for pure darkness to hurt someone. Now it needed to end. She could see the white masked persona create something with light. What was it going to shoot light. It did. Maria was hit by a mean hit. She had to do something. "Pixie!" she shouted as the pixie released a spell to cure Maria. Maria could feel the relief of the healing spell. It was only a gamble. She thought about it but didn't knew for sure if Pixie could do it. But it worked out fine. Both shadows were angry that their pray was better then before and both charged at Maria. She quickly fired a Garu at them. "Persona!" She shouted as she hit the white masked Shadow with the spell. The white masked shadow was defeated! But the black masked reached her before she could strike back or do anything else. She pushed her in her gut. The pain was immense. She wasn't about to use her sword anymore. With this pain she couldn't swing well anymore. "P-Pixie!" Maria desperately shouted. firing another Garu at the black masked persona. This time it was over for good.

Maria immediately mended her wounds with her persona. She really felt tired afterwards. the adrenaline kept her going during the fight. After the fight however she could feel what had been going on. She was sighing heavily. This fight took more then she first thought. The first shadow was a lot weaker despite being in the same place. Maybe it was because it was alone that it seemed so weak. I mean these two weren't alone, and used similar yet very different and coordinated tactics. They somehow were able to use light and darkness as weapons. How did they do that? Well, she just miraculously healed her wounds, that was strange to. She would call it a day. It has been enough for today. She left the terminal again. This time she felt much more fulfilled then last time. Sadly she didn't discover anything about her strange power here. She is still as curious. But now she knows that these monsters whatever they are, are a force to be reckoned with. She went straight home to rest.
