Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

(this thread may be ignored until the previously made one has been resolved. I will read the rules better next time)
John stood before the abandoned complex once more. He could stil remember last time he was here, it was the night his powers awakened. He had returned, partially because this place seemed like as good a place to investigate as any, and partially beceause he had a desire for revenge. After all, he barely survived the last time here, so what better way to test out his new capabilities than to obliterate a few of the damn beast. So he brandished his shotgun and kicked down the front door, making enough noise to be heard throughout the first floor of the building.
"Come at me you bastards, I have a gun full of lead and an appetite for revenge!" He stood there, awaiting any possible reaction, which was sure to come after such an infernal racket.

Was this a joke! or was that really a shadow in the form of a small tank attacking him. Well, he demanded a challange and a challange he got. He fired a well placed shot of buckshot at the living vehicle, but was surprised when the bullets were actually blocked by this thing's armor. He didn't have time to consider the implications of this as the tank's turret seemed to be swiveling towards his direction.
He ducked behind one of the decrepit looking pieces furniture in the lobby, doding it's two shots, which instead hit the wall, causing plaster and bits of rubble to rain down on John. He breathed deeply, this was not the time for panicking. He remembered the card in hs pocket. It was a wild theory, but there was nothing to lose in testing it out. John concentrated on the card, which then started to glow a bright blue before shattering in a blue flash that produced a familiar figure.
It was the same figure as the one he saw at his awakening, John and his persona looked at each other intently, they both knew what the plan was. John Ran out of cover to face the shadow with the metal-encased humanoid following closely behind. The shadow had been slowly rolling nearer as he was fumbling around with his card. John, only loosely holding his gun, cast a ball of darkness at it, which proved quite a bit more effective at damaging the shadow. It hadn't broken down yet though. and seemed to be gathering some kind of energy.
John was wondering what it was doing when it shot a ball of flame right at him. He threw his arms in front of his face to shield it from the searing pain he knew was coming. The fireball hit him quite harsly. when he lowered his arms, he could see his masked persona casting another shadow ball like the previous one. This one ripped through the shadow's armor, reducing it to a smoking wreck. The scene however, summoned bad memories, memories he tried to supress. Did this shadow intentionally take this form and method of attack because it knew it would destabilize John. However, his persona, still physically present, drew close to him and laid a comforting hand on his shoulder. For some reason, it's presence was calming to him for some reason. Yet it quickly dissapated as it's continued presence was very tiring mentally.
John looked as the shadow dissapated, such a weird sight to behold. And then, he was just standing there, alone.

Well, that certainly sated his appetite for revenge. Maybe he ought to go home, he didn't feel like doing much more fighting. John dusted himself off and walked ack out throught the front door. Nonchalanty closing it behind him as he went outside. He sighed as he looked back at the office building, how was he ever going to scale that thing if he was this tired out from even a single battle? Regardless, that was a concern for another day.
