Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Rikki decided to make another small trip into the chasm that he had come across recently. There seemed to be an abundance of powerful shadows down there. As such, it was the perfect place for him to go for his routine training and/or purging. His only issue with the place was how dark it was. Being in the dark didn't really bother him, but it certainly slowed down his travelling time. Maybe next time he should pack some sort of light that didn't require hands? Actually, couldn't he just use his persona? Throne. The boy summoned his persona, which thanks to its flames, illuminated the area considerably. There we go. Now he could explore with considerably less lag time.

With a yawn, the boy looked around the perimeter of the cave. He couldn't really tell when something might pop out and make a surprise attack on him. In the end, nothing really did. Instead, he heard the loud footsteps of an all too familiar foe. Ah. One of you guys. The boy smiled as he saw a rather large human-like shadow come forth and begin to charge. Throne, Hamaon. A large light barrier erected itself in between the charging shadow and the boy. After a moment, the shadow charged straight into the attack. The light clearly burned, but it continued to charge, managing to swing a punch at the boy.
Rikki gracefully dodged the attack. And by gracefully, he ran off to the side with guitar in hand and decided to try and swing at it. The guitar proved to be completely ineffective which simply rebounded off the surface of the shadow. It seemed that he would have to stick with his light attacks for this one.
Running past the shadow, the boy turned around and launched another light attack. Meanwhile, the shadow combated him back with a fire attack. Hitting him in the side, the boy simply smiled as he shrugged it off. He then watched the light attack go forth, hitting the shadow and effectively knocking it over.
While tempted to run up and smash its face in with his guitar, the boy knew it wouldn't work. Instead, he decided to go for a less satisfying light attack finisher. Throne put down a large circle of light under the shadow which caused it to dissolve almost instantaneously.

That was another fight down for this area. Rikki was quite pleased with the rate at which he was clearly out shadows. The boy didn't exactly have much practice in the time between the events at his hometown and the incident that he found himself in.
It was thanks to this incident that the boy's persona was starting to grow in strength. Well, he certainly could have gone without the incident in the first place. And if he had no incident to take care of, he certainly would have no reason to strengthen his persona. But there was no changing what was happening. The boy would have to make due with what he had and simply continue to grow stronger.
