Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Every time the monsters had appeared, it was Shiranui that had saved her. But Haru was done being protected by that mangy mutt! It was her time to shine!
Well, nothing so dramatic. She wandered the outskirts of the populated areas of Mosaic City until the sky turned a familiar but unnatural shade of purple. The ninja drew her blade and let the blunt edge rest against her shoulder, taking in her surroundings before proceeding onward. It was a simple skyscraper, but she seemed to have some kind of unholy attraction to something hiding within the building itself. Haru smirked and pressed forward, briskly stepping through the damaged front doors and stopping in the lobby to take a moment to collect her thoughts. She didn't have anything against the wolf, but she had been training for quite literally her entire life. If she was unable to defend herself against this new threat, what did that say about her? This time she would face the monsters on her own, and she would win. It didn't matter how stronger the opponent that appeared before her was, she would strike it down. She had to. For Tsukuyomi.

As expected, the monsters were soon drawn to her presence in the area. Haru still didn't completely grasp what the situation was, but at least she'd made a solid determination after three encounters with the creatures- if the sky was an odd color, it meant that these things were crawling about. One of the pair was similar to the slime monsters she had faced before, but the other one was new. After identifying the enemy she immediately dashed forward, holding her sword angled towards the ground as she ran. Without Shirasui for support, she could only engage one target at a time. She could swiftly defeat the slime and risk learning just how powerful the newcomer was, or try to strike the Tiara down quickly so that she only had the known threat to deal with. When the Tiara raised it's arms and started to float a few inches off the ground, Haru spun on her heel and whipped the sword up, cleaving both the slime and it's mask in half with a vertical strike.
No sooner had she slain the Maya, a strong gust of wind battered her, forcing her back about a foot and tearing her right sleeve apart, leaving her arm bloody with numerous cuts marking it's length. She winced at the pain just as the Tiara prepared another of the same attack. There was no time to regret her decision to attack the Maya first, so she shifted the sword to her right hand and ran towards the monster, holding her uninjured left hand in front of her face to protect her from the second Garu. As expected, a second gust of razor wind buffeted her and tried to force her back, but it only served to slow her down. This time, however, both her left arm and stomach were hit by the attack, leaving her shirt in shambles. Haru grunted in pain as she drew her right arm back and then thrust forward, separating the monster's body with the crown set upon it's head. The girl hunched over and panted softly as the shadow faded away, mumbling in annoyance about how she would have to find a way to repair her shirt if she ever wanted to be seen in public again...
