Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Maria found her way back to this factory the Shadow here last time was strong, perfectly to train here. She knew it was dangerous, but she had to do something against these things. It was far away but she managed to get there without much intervention. As she didn't got far last time because of that giant wheel. She wondered what she would encounter this time. Some answers were always welcome, but she began to doubt that she would get answers by just roaming aimlessly. She also thus was searching for a good place to search or a clue. To bad she didn't found much yet, actually nothing. What could possibly the cause of these creatures?

After a while Maria encountered some more shadows. There were three. She never faced such amount before. But... What the... Where they really shadows? One looks like a cupid the other were two dancers and another one looked like a iron body builder. Would the dancer count as one or two shadows? Maria began to give up hope on how to distinct the shadows from each other they all were very different and any evolution between them would be near impossible. Well... let's keep the questions for when they are gone!
Maria took her persona card. "Pixie!" She said as the pixie came out, a large gust of wind was send at all three the shadows. Two were damaged a little but the other one, the gigas wasn't even hurt. How was that even possible? The attack did not have any effect at all. Tactical retreat. She ran away immediately. She wasn't planning on leaving the place but she could at least take out the shadows separately. She hoped to at least fight the gigas alone. The shadows however were smart enough to stick together. So Maria's plan wasn't going to work. She needed to think of something else. She could use that skill. She knew of a new skill her persona learned recently but she hated that spell. But now it seemed like the only skill that could do anything against the now so dangerous wind resisting guy. It was worth a try. She took another card and aimed it at the gaint. "P-Persona!" she shouted. This skill did it's effect. A heart hit the gigas and it was charmed. But meanwhile she got slashed... by an arrow? How in gods name is that possible? This battle was getting weirder with the second. The dancers shot fire at her, while the gigas punched the dancers. That seemed to hurt, but that fire also hurt. "Take this!" Maria shouted. another magaru was fling at the both the dancer, the cupid and the gigas, though the later didn't feel at thing except maybe a pleasant breeze. The dancer was the defeated but there was still the cupid and the gigas to take care off. The cupid was shooting light at her. Well she had a shadow shooting light at her before so it wasn't new. The light almost made Maria faint. While Maria took out another persona card, the gigas punched the cupid down. "heal!" she said as the pixie healed Maria. Now only the gigas and the girl were over. The gigas wasn't hurt at all however. Maria wasn't very damaged anymore after her healing spell. This was going to be a tough battle. She couldn't use her most effective spell. but at least it was still charmed, but who knew how long that would last? What would work against it? Maria couldn't find it herself. It would be a fight with her sword... But it wasn't very likely that she was going to win that way. She would need to find another way.
She sliced at the gigas chest. it wasn't hurt that much. But at least this worked. The gigas seemed to have recovered from the charm spell and was rushing at her, angry as it was about being manipulated in attacking it's own friends. The punches came and... pierced her body? what kind of punched was that? To create small holes in her body, like a bullet or arrow. It hurt maria stroke again with her sword and ran while it was recovering from the pain. . hiding in another room. This fight began to look like that wheel. But this time she couldn't fire from her hiding place. The wind wouldn't hurt the gigas. It would only be a matter of time before the shadow would have found her, then it would take her down. She hid behind a machine. The gigas was approaching he would see her soon. There was only one chance. Once the gigas was in reach she stood up and sliced through the body with her sword, Now the gigas was heavily injured. But Maria wasn't taking the best either. The released a bolt of lightning. Hearing that sound maria immediately jumped aside. She remembered the last time a bolt of lightning hit her and she wanted to avoid that at all cost again. There had to be a way to defeated this thing. An idea began creating in her head. She wasn't sure that it was going to work. It was just as likely to kill her as the gigas, and she had no guaranty it was going to work. She rushed at the back at the shadow while releasing her persona. "Persona!" She said. The pixie healed her again. She saw the gigas loading its lighting again. everything or nothing! She sliced the gigas and at the moment the shadow fired the lighting. The blade hit the lighting and the gigas causing shock to both maria and the shadow. The shadow fell down and so did Maria. But after a minute she came up again and the sword was back to normal.

That last move was a risky bet. She was good against wind to, As lightning was her weakness, she guessed it was that giants weakness as well. She wasn't sure but it helped her in the end. It was certainly a lucky guess. If it wasn't she would most likely have lost the fight. She didn't want to think what losing meant but she guessed it wasn't pretty. She felt tired. How was it possible that these shadows were so different from the rest of the shadows. These things were so impossible she couldn't describe it. Maria went home still wondering about how punches could stab and arrows could slice.
