Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

The giant made her way further into the caverns. So long as she was careful, she had nothing to worry about from the Shadows there, she believed. Silent steps, slowed breathing, and the occasional peek around corners brought Nisha further into the mines. The last battle hadn't really bothered her too badly. Just a little further, she figured. If she found something and did away with it, then good. That was less for others to deal with. If she did not, then she would count her blessings and pull out for the time being. No sense in going too deep into an enemy's lair. That was a good way to be trapped.

When a black cat wandered in front of her, Nisha was not entirely certain of what to think. When the cat squiggled, like a Shadow, however, she had enough of an idea of what to do. Not willing to risk getting too close to a uniquely-shaped Shadow, she beckoned for the card that would summon Shango. Immediately following that, she willed for an Akasha Arts. The destructive wave of force distorted the ground's shape as it ripped apart everything in its way. The blow slammed the cat into a wall, and, as expected from a Shadow, it did not go down. Instead, a flurry of arrows flew at the woman. Shifting sideways and raising her arm, the woman minimized the attack surface, but took a number of the arrows.
Following up, she had Shango use another Akasha arts. The blast of destructive force ripped the cat apart that time, leaving the giant by herself in the cavern.

Satisfied with the lack of additional Shadow-cats, Nisha relaxed and gave the area a look over. Nothing else seemed to be noteworthy. Things were quiet. If that was all, then there was no need to linger. She could plunge deeper into the mines on another day. For the time being, though, she was plenty pleased with her progress. The further she reached into the more dangerous places, the more caution she needed to exert. Of course, she'd like to have been able to think that others going that deep would exercise that same level of caution, but some may not have. So she still needed to work to lower the number of dangerous Shadows.
