Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.
Amane walked inside the shop. She started to dig through her bag. She found some junk while traversing the place and didn't have the chance to pawn any of it off. Amane walked to the counter after dumping a pile of...random materials. Shadows leave behind the strangest things and Amane would rather not find out what exactly these things are. She might as well turn it into someone who can use them. One's junk is another's treasure after all.
"Can I get these refunded?" If only Amane knew about this earlier. Then she wouldn't have to work in that wretched maid cafe. May she never run into money issues.

Amane wondered if she was getting use to this form of income. She didn't mind it but now she wondered if her parents would start to notice that the money they sent her goes barely unotuched. Amane might be thinking too hard about it though. What mattered now is that she once more gathered what she collected form the stratums. She presented the bag over to the shop. She now started to wait as they appraised it.
What Ran said to her back at the apartment still concerned her. Humanoid, sentient shadows. That demonic school girl was terrifying enough but a shadow that looks and thinks exactly like a person? It was rather horrifying to think about. Amane sighed as she placed a hand over her face. This was plenty to take in. Combine that with the fact that they are powerful then that is a whole another issue to take care off.

Money. Even in the midst of all this chaos, money is what made the world go around. One said that one had to go through pain to get money. Yes, Amane had to kill numerous shadows to obtain the junk she is pawning off but it was much easier than working in that wretched maid cafe. It took a lot of personal will power not to shudder on the rare off chance that she met someone from that cafe, waving to her and saying she should work again.
"Turning all of these end." Amane dumped the sack of junk towards the vendor. With this she'll never have to go back to wearing that maid outfit.
Amane slammed a sack filled with random junk and unneeded items she collected from the stratums at the desk. She laid back against the wall, waiting on those who is currently running the shop to appraise the items within and give her the usual amount of money she would get for going through the trouble. She was, quite frankly, still mad at Layla. She doesn't get people. One moment they stab you in the back, next moment they confuse you, and next moment they spout nonsense like that. She slid down and placed her hands upon her face. Amane really needed to find a way out of this lock down and soon...
"Here you go. Today's collection." Amane placed the backpack filled with various things that she has obtained from her journeys within the stratums. Within the bag was already materials she studied though she was now wondering the point. She rarely if ever found anything particularly useful to her situation...her situation...
Amane's back hit the wall before she sunk down to sitting down as she waited on the garbage to be appraised. She placed both of her hands on her face before sliding them down. Amane was trying to forget about that full moon. She really did but she was hung up on all the things she heard. Not to mention her hesitance to fire at the shadow even when she was hiding. Amane lightly tapped her head against the wall. The wait was now killing her.
