Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Given that everything was going well as of late, the boy had little doubt that his exploration would conclude on a satisfactory note. Confidently, even happily, the boy strolled right along into the halls of the cathedral of Shadows. He had come on a trip with Alisa to fulfill the needs of a mission. That was cool. Other than that, the boy hadn't come in a couple of days. He did have to admit that that lardass might have still been around, but he wondered if it would look as resilient now as it had then. Perhaps he could cook that beast, in all of it's girth? Perhaps make some biscuits, or something. Actually, what the hell was lard even used for? He never had to use it when cooking, so. . . biscuits and bread stuff, right?

Akira blinked as a Maya shot from a crack in the cathedral's wall. It then clung to his leg. Okay, that was slightly cute. If only it was a human. However, any degree of cuteness that Shadow might have had was wasted when it began to glow and then explode. Son of a bitch. Shaking what should have been nothing alive off of his leg, he began to pat the appendage down. Overall, the damage was kinda nasty, but he'd pull through just fine. Except the kamikaze bastard was still alive? Okay, magic was cool when it wasn't a pain. This? Was a pain. It charged at him again, already glowing, and he kicked it away, causing it to explode a safe distance away. It was only then that he summoned Alma Elma and had her prepare some Heat Risers.

Seemed the enemy was dead. For real that time, so he could relax. Which was ironic, since he just capped Heat Riser, meaning it was absolutely im-fuckin'-possible to relax. The boy's pulse had risen. His urges to destroy things were through the roof. His strength and speed were beyond the normal limits. Sighing and swinging his scissors around with some impressive force, the boy finally shrugged and began to press on. He needed something else to appear at that point. He had to kill more things, after all. Actually kill something, rather. That last guy was just a bit suicidal. That wasn't enough to keep a person like him satisfied. That was a tease!
