Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Ringo adjusted his gray jacket and placed the uniform back in the locker. He stretched himself as he started to walk out of his place of work. Today wasn't that busy all things considered. It was just a typical day, Ringo distributing snacks and coffee when need be since he was waiter today. He lifted up his messenger bag and waved good bye to his coworkers.
"See you all around!" Ringo started to head out of the cafe he worked out and took out his cellphone. Come to think of it, it wasn't too long until dinner. He placed the phone away and thought. He actually had a bit of extra pocket money now that his wallet isn't hinging on just a cafe job. Ringo could get himself some dinner. He admitted he was getting tired of the stuff he was preparing at home...and by preparing he means microwave or use his very limited cooking skills to make the supremely complicated dish of rice balls and miso soup.
He walked around the mall and pondering what exactly he should eat. Ringo walked over to one of the mall directories and his eyes scrolled through the map and what is located, his eyes wandering to the restaurant section. Ringo might as well try Japanese. He hasn't had any in awhile. He turned around and noticed someone familiar.

Ally decided to go out to eat today. She simply didn't feel like cooking today, mostly. That, and she would need to do a bit of shopping to get some ingredients. Since she was in the area, she figured that eating at the mall might be a good idea. What would she have to eat though? The mall had quite the impressive selection given how many cultures seemed to situate themselves into the city. As for the girl's preferences, she didn't really have any. If it was good, she ate it. And how exactly would she know unless she tried it? With that in mind she began to look over the various food places hoping to find something that she might like.
However, before she could really decide and head over, she heard a voice that seemed faintly familiar. She turned her head to the voice to see just who it was. She realized why it sounded familiar a moment later as she narrowed her eyes into a dull stare at the boy. Oh great. It's THIS guy.
She recalled the boy from the previous fights in the city. Both times he chose to try and take blows for her when she passed out. Despite her protesting to it, he continued to do so. Needless to say, she wasn't exactly fond of the boy. With a small sigh, she looked at the boy. Yes. It's me. She was clearly unamused. She looked him over for a moment before beginning to scan the areas for a place to eat again. She was quite hungry and didn't want to waste time chatting when she could be eating.

"Yes. It's me." The girl said with a sigh. She...wasn't happy with him was she? Well that was evident enough in the last full moon battle. She looked at him for a moment and then started to look around. Ringo arched an eyebrow and followed her line of sight for a few moments. Ringo wasn't sure what exactly to say. He did have to make up for the fact that he kinda threw her around last full moon fight.
"I actually wanted to get the opportunity to say sorry I kinda threw you around the other night." Ringo wasn't sure if she was listening. He pondered for a moment before deciding on something he can do to make up for...well...now that Ringo thought about it he treated her rather horribly. One can argue he was panicking but it still didn't change the fact that he shook her, threw her, even if it was to get her out of the way of an attack he could've done something that wasn't so reckless. "If you're interest in a place to eat I can pay." Besides, what's the worst that can happen?

Perhaps that place? Nah. Maybe this one? Perhaps. Ally couldn't really decide where she wanted to go. There were so many decisions in front of her. Of course, her browsing was interrupted again by the boy. She turned to him once more with a more neutral look. He seemed to be apologizing for the night before. That was great and all, but she didn't really care all that much for apologies. If he was truly sorry, he would refrain from doing such things. Ah, that. Don't worry about it. She scratched her head for a moment. What you tried to do was brave, no doubt. But remember this. I do things by my own strength alone. She looked the boy dead in the eyes as she made that clear.
She then briefly returned her gaze to the food places again before jerking her head back towards the boy one last time. Did he just offer to pay for a meal? She simply looked at him wide-eyed before blinking. Alright. Where do you want to eat? I can't decide. She simply let on to the fact that she was indeed looking for a place to eat. That coupled by the fact that she was very tight on money only made the proposition even more interesting for her. She yawned while stretching, then proceeded to look over the various places the boy now had to choose from. He probably couldn't pick a bad restaurant. Hence, she would simply leave the decision to him without worry.
Unfortunately, the boy probably had no idea what he had gotten himself into. As someone who could literally be called a "black hole," Ally was looking forward to several helpings. After all, the boy said he'd pay for her, right? She simply considered this the "good part" of his apology even if it wasn't so.

"Ah, that. Don't worry about it." The girl said, scratching the back of her head. "What you tried to do was brave, no doubt. But remember this. I do things by my own strength alone" Ringo slowly nodded as she looked into his eyes.
"Understood." Ringo watched as she went back to look around for a brief moment before looking back at him.
"Alright. Where do you want to eat? I can't decide." Ringo looked around the mall for a moment and spotted a Japanese restaurant. It has been awhile since Ringo had actually decent Japanese food...but on the other hand he doesn't know how she felt about it. He pondered for a moment before turning back towards the blonde.

At least the boy seemed to understand what she said about not messing with her like that again. Narcoleptic or not, she was adamant on not being handled like that. It was a matter of pride above all else.
The being said, the boy began to pick out a place to eat as she had requested. In the end, he picked Japanese. That's fine. The Japanese places are usually pretty good. Given that they were so close to Japan geographically, they had a good deal of actual Japanese who ran the food places. In other words, the food was pretty authentic. Lead the way. She nonchalantly spoke, though it sounded almost like an order for the boy to follow. If the boy had something picked out, she would simply follow him there to make it simple for her.

"That's fine. The Japanese places are usually pretty good." It seems that she is in agreement of Ringo's idea. " Lead the way." Ringo nodded and started to head over to the Japanese restaurant. Well it seems like things are going to go in a more positive direction. Better than the last conversation he had with a persona user that's for sure. She did make disturbingly catchy music though.
"Okay..." Ringo sat on down at a table. "Order what you like." Ringo took a look through the menu and mentally deciding on his meal. "Oh..." Ringo placed the menu down. "I'm Ringo Shiro, nice to meet you."

Ally was led to the destination of the boy's choice and sat down across from him. Picking out a menu, she began sifting through all the things presented to her. She was familiar with most Japanese cuisine after living in the city for quite some time. She began mentally marking things in her head to order for when it came time to give her order. She was already busy at work while the boy told her to order what she wanted. Telling her was pointless at this point. She heard that she was being treated so she planned on making the most of it.
Her face was completely covered by the menu as he spoke and was only lowered slightly so that she could look at the boy when responding. All that was visible above the menu was the girl's eyes which were still fixated in an unamused stance. Alouette Pendleton. Likewise. The boy at least had manners. That was good. Perhaps this wouldn't be as annoying as she thought. She had her doubts about the boy from the beginning, but he could probably still pull through.
The girl certainly wasn't one for socializing, especially after the incident. Naturally, she was at a loss for what to talk about. That was, until she remembered something. Ah, say. . . are you familiar with those sentient shadows? Y'know. . . the ones that can talk and all that? She wasn't sure how to further explain them. I'm looking for a certain shadow like that. She wasn't sure how much to expect from this boy in terms of information. Frankly, she wasn't sure how much to expect from most of the Users in the city. How many people had come into contact with shadows like that? Oh. I'm ready to order by the way. And just like that, she snapped right back into food mode.
"Alouette Pendleton. Likewise." Well it atleast she hasn't given him a fake name, that was a decent start. "Ah, say. . . are you familiar with those sentient shadows? Y'know. . . the ones that can talk and all that?" Ringo slightly nodded at Alouette's question. He was starting to remember the few he saw at those full moon battles and not to mention the discussion afterwards.
"Yeah. Some of them appeared at that full moon battle, right?" Ringo began. However, he did need to clarify. "I don't know any of them. If anything a friend of mine would know more on that subject than I do but I'm not sure if it would be alright to intrude seeing as how human like shadows are a personal matter to her."
"I'm looking for a certain shadow like that." Alouette said. Ringo was about to ask but then she changed the topic back to about food. "Oh. I'm ready to order by the way." Ringo decided to drop it. He nodded and then looked over at the waiter. He was already ready to order his meal.
"I'd like one Tendon and one water for myself." Ringo looked over at Ally wondering what she'll order.

Well, at least this boy wasn't completely in the dark over the matter. She didn't really expect him to know much more than what he had said though. It wasn't that she thought he was useless. She honestly didn't expect anybody to know much more than she did. However, the boy mentioned knowing someone who might be able to help in the matter. Never mind the fact that it was a personal matter; it was a personal matter for her as well. A friend of yours? Could you tell me a bit about them? Its really important and I could use all the information I can get. Hopefully whoever this girl was would be willing to at least give her some information.
Then, turning to the waiter, she nodded and began to give her order. I think I'll start with something simple. I would like some Udon with shrimp tempura. Oh, and some spider roll sushi, a side of curry and rice, a bowl of ramen. . . oh and for a drink. . . She scanned the menu one last time before giving her order. XXXL Lemonade. She said all of it with a straight face as if this was a common food order for her. Sadly, it was.

"A friend of yours? Could you tell me a bit about them? Its really important and I could use all the information I can get." Ringo thought about it. He figured if he pointed her in the right direction it wouldn't be so bad right? He might as well give Aloutte something to go off of.
"Her name is Phoebe. She has long brown hair with some pinkish purplish hair lights around here." Ringo waved his hand over the estimated area. "She wears glasses too so there is that. She had an encounter with one. The rest of the details are with her." Alouette nodded and turned over to the waiter, it seemed she was ready to order.
"I think I'll start with something simple." Alouette began. "I would like some Udon with shrimp tempura. Oh, and some spider roll sushi, a side of curry and rice, a bowl of ramen. . ." YOU CALL THAT SIMPLE?!?! Ringo's brain collapsed in on itself for a moment as he heard the small girl across from him order this much. Alouette took one last look on the menu, Ringo mentally dreading what she was going to order. "...oh and for a drink. . ." Well that doesn't sound so... "XXXL Lemonade." The waiter looked at Ringo and Ringo could only respond to the waiter with a shrug and an expression that screams I don't know
"Your orders will be ready shortly." The waiter went off. Ringo quickly scanning the menu and lamenting the critical damage this was going to be to his wallet.
"You really like Japanese food don't you?" Ringo relaxed himself as he waited for the food. "Though you sure you should order all of that at once? Some of the food can lose its cool as you dig through one dish."

Phoebe, huh. . . Alouette pondered for a moment. She received a description as well as a little more information on her experience. From the sounds of it, she didn't seem to have much more than an encounter with a shadow. Regardless, it was a good direction to be going in. It was better than no lead at all. Would you happen to know where to find her by chance? Knowing someone who could give information was something, but being able to talk to them was likely infinitely better.
After giving her order the girl began to kick her legs up and down slightly like any child. Her feet didn't reach past her chair of course so they simply dangled as they swayed. Then the boy asked a question in regards to her taste. Not really. Too much Japanese makes me sick. But its okay in moderation. Why? As for the other question, the girl simply blinked and tilted her head. Hmm. I never thought of it getting cold. I usually finish before it does. She shrugged a bit before resting her head on her hand as she propped her elbow onto the table. From there, she glanced around the mall at the various other shops, food places and people. I don't think I really have a favorite "type" of food. She spoke as she looked around, pondering over that for the moment. My favorite food is flan though. Preferably chocolate flan.
"Phoebe, huh. . ." Alouette began to think for a moment. "Would you happen to know where to find her by chance?" It was then Ringo found a block. Despite now frequent encounters...he has no idea how to get in contact with Phoebe.
"About that..." Ringo laughed sadly. "I have no way of contacting Phoebe."
"Not really. Too much Japanese makes me sick. But its okay in moderation. Why?" Who in their right mind would call what she ordered moderation?! Ringo was now dreading the idea of bringing her to a Korean BBQ place. He could only imagine a wall of side dish plates, and piles of empty meat plates. "Hmm. I never thought of it getting cold. I usually finish before it does." Ringo was now getting the morbid image of Ally somehow vaccuming the food up. It was rude to think that but given what she ordered his fear is a tinge justified. "I don't think I really have a favorite "type" of food. My favorite food is flan though. Preferably chocolate flan." Ringo tried his best to supress that Japanese pudding commercial to the back of his mind.
"I see." Ringo said. "I'm one for Asian dishes but on the occasion I like a simple cup of coffee." Ringo followed her line of sight as they waited on the food. "By the by..." Ringo lowered his voice a little and looked around. "I know this place doesn't exactly have Japan's arms control policy and such but how did you get access to guns and explosives?"

The boy gave her an answer about where to locate Phoebe. It was certainly not what she expected, given she expected him to know. She simply gave a dull stare to the boy for a moment before shrugging it off. I hate coffee. I usually only drink tea. Coffee just didn't seem all that great to her. However, the girl could usually find herself drinking tea on a daily basis. Of course, other drinks were still welcomed by the girl as well.
She finally turned to the boy when he lowered his voice and began to ask about her "arsenal." Well. . . the guns I got from my father. He was able to get me a permit as well. I've been firing guns since I was twelve or so. Might have started younger to be honest. Guns didn't seem all that big of a deal to the girl anymore considering how she grew up with them lying around. She had the necessary training to handle them of course, otherwise her father would have truly won the father of the decade award. As for the explosives, I make them myself. I think I began making them around the same time as when I began firing guns. Don't really remember. Truly, the girl did not give much care to the kind of weapons she was lugging around all the time.

"I hate coffee. I usually only drink tea." Ringo would say that there is a large variety of other coffees but he could somewhat understand. It took him a few months to get use to coffee himself before it spiraled from there. Curiosity and the desire to stay up for those pesky entrance exams might be part of the reason why he got into the drink.
"Well. . . the guns I got from my father. He was able to get me a permit as well. I've been firing guns since I was twelve or so. Might have started younger to be honest." Ringo was honestly amazed. Wait...hold on...wouldn't that mean she started not too long ago? She doesn't look too much older than thirteen or fourteen. "As for the explosives, I make them myself. I think I began making them around the same time as when I began firing guns. Don't really remember." Ringo was honestly horrified that her father just let her make explosives but what does he know.
"Please enjoy your meal." Ringo watched as their meal arrived. He took out the wooden chopsticks and snapped them apart. He might as well dig in and enjoy the meal...and forget that his wallet is about to get a huge stab. He started eating the first tempura on the rice bowl as he looked across from him. Ringo was curious on how she is going to go about eating all that food.
