Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

"You live on your own as well? I guess it's good to be independent at a young age," I simply said and shrugged. It seemed obvious to me that Amane didn't really want to talk about it even though she mentioned it, so I wasn't about to press the issue. That said, it was interesting to see that she was clearly working hard. If she was studying, working a job, and also dealing with this mess, I couldn't really fault her for flipping out about some things. It's tough to endure it all. I sighed and got myself a grocery basket too, and made myself ready to go shopping for supplies.
"Well, I'm not the kind of person who pushes personal issues. You go and take care of yourself, right? Everyone needs a break from the chaos now and then."
"You live on your own as well? I guess it's good to be independent at a young age," Amane nodded as she went over to some microwavables. She grabbed a few and threw them in the basket. She decided to go for some vegetable pizzas this time around. The downside of not being able to cook right is...lack of nutritional balance. Amane can't exactly survive on bento boxes forever. "Well, I'm not the kind of person who pushes personal issues. You go and take care of yourself, right? Everyone needs a break from the chaos now and then."
"Thank you." Amane said. "Though it feels odd to know what your situation is...but..." Amane looked around the grocery store. "I guess talking about it in public is pushing my comfort." Amane reached to grab herself a cartoon of orange juice.

Amane grabbed herself a carton of orange juice as I went around grabbing some basic supplies in terms of consumables, juice, bread, and all that kind of crap. She mentioned to me that talking about this sort of thing in public was out of her comfort zone, and honestly, given how badly she handled fighting the demon, I couldn't blame her. "Well, it's not in my place to push the issue anyway. Just talk about whatever you feel comfortable talking about, really. I like gathering information but only when it's important. Somebody's personal life is none of my business unless it directly relates to a given crisis or situation that needs clearing up. That's why people hire me," I said, shrugging. "In any case, if I can do anything to help, please let me know. I feel like I should do my part as well."

Amane was going to be honest...Alisa might be one of the only other people that she has gotten use to in this insane town...mind scaring aside. "In any case, if I can do anything to help, please let me know. I feel like I should do my part as well."
"You do enough for me as it is." Amane picked up a microwavable pizza...come to think of it, what do the bentos cost right now? "Finding what you need?"

I kept just the basic necessities in my little basket, mostly stuff to help me make food at home... I wasn't a fan of buying bento boxes and other kinds of lunch boxes at this time of the evening. As I tend to eat such food as soon as I buy them. It certainly wasn't happening tonight. As Amane picked up some microwavable pizza (which I wasn't a fan of either, I prefer the real stuff) she told me that I was doing enough for her as it was. This elicited a small, kinda weak smile from me. I was probably tired.
"Hmm? Yeah, I'm finding what I need. Come to think of it, are you still working at that place? Is everything going alright for you?" I decided that maybe I should try to learn a little more about this client, given as I'd probably be working with her for a while. It'd be worth while to form some kinda connection with her.
