Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Once more, she was sitting at this bench. At least it wasn't two months this time around. She lay back on the bench she was on. Amane sighed as she looked at the one page of notes she's made since that time. She hasn't done much and she is still recovering from the insanity that was the last full moon. Amane looked up from her bench.
There she was again. This was going to be awkward. Alisa saw her panic attack back at the full moon. She wondered if she had any choice words for her too. Welp, there was only one way to find out. Amane got up from her bench and bowed politely as she presented some money.
"Here is this month's pay." That was all she could start off with.

I spotted Amane sitting at what I could only imagine was her usual spot, at the park bench. Soon, she procured a wad of bills from somewhere and proclaimed it was this month's pay. This month's pay? I didn't even give her a rate, nor did I specify that I requested to be paid in installments... I sighed and took only half of the money she presented to me. "I can't take all of it. You're working hard. I saw what happened back at the full moon. You were clearly distressed. Please take care of yourself. You won't be able to contribute to anyone if you get yourself killed out there. It's alright to be afraid and nervous sometimes. Running away can be a legitimate course of action," I said, sighing and putting my hands in the pockets of my pants. The shirt I was wearing was flapping about a bit in the wind.
"That wolf that appeared in the full moon battle was probably a demon. If demons are showing up nowadays, we really must be careful. So, I really suggest for you to take care of yourself."

"I can't take all of it." Amane looked up from her bow as Alisa only took half of the amount she presented. "You're working hard. I saw what happened back at the full moon." Amane shot up..but looked down as she pocked the money. Mostly as an excuse to not look at Alisa in the eye. You were clearly distressed. Please take care of yourself. You won't be able to contribute to anyone if you get yourself killed out there. It's alright to be afraid and nervous sometimes. Running away can be a legitimate course of action,"
"Don't say that when you didn't falter at all..."
"That wolf that appeared in the full moon battle was probably a demon. If demons are showing up nowadays, we really must be careful. So, I really suggest for you to take care of yourself." Amane figured it wasn't a shadow. But demons?! Amane now began to ponder exactly how long they have been around. Tales of demons has been around for thousands of years but she figured they'd be used to explain unexplainable phenomenon. Then again...those tales might have a source.
"I see...thank you for your advice." Amane also handed Alisa her one page of notes. "I took notes on some of the notices I got from the full moon. Some characteristics of that wolf as well as that shadow. " Amane started to turn around to zip up her bag. "Have you spotted any demons in the stratums since then?"

"I don't really have much of a choice," I said. "Besides, I've been through worse. I was fighting Shadows even before I had a Persona," I continued, before Amane gave me a page of notes with some stuff on the battle written on it. I guess she must have taken these down after the fight, or while she was hiding. Honestly, I didn't really care too much about these notes because I committed some of these details to memory already. However, I didn't want to make myself seem too indifferent. I nodded. "Thanks for the notes, as well. As for demons themselves, I haven't spotted any demons yet, but I'm starting to get reports of strange sounds coming from the terminal. Maybe something appeared there, but I'm not sure. I have more important things to take care of right now, but I met a very experienced woman who has had a lot of first-hand experience with demons. I could possibly work with her."
"I don't really have much of a choice," Alisa said. "Besides, I've been through worse. I was fighting Shadows even before I had a Persona," Amane remembered her telling her about that. With just a knife...she fought those things.
"A woman with first hand experience with demons?" Amane now began to wonder how long they were around. "Ugh...this is getting ridiculous. People coming in but still no way out?" Amane sighed as she finally went over to zip up her bag.

"I'm sorry we can't find a solution to this quickly," I said, shaking my head as I noticed Amane going over to zip up her bag. "Unfortunately, we'll just have to roll with the punches. Do you need to go now, though?" I asked Amane if she needed to go, since I would also make my departure if she didn't need anything else. "If you're still feeling a bit uneasy about everything, I don't mind sticking around with you to talk or hang out for a bit or something. Everything's just been happening all so fast and quickly, so it can be quite overwhelming. I honestly don't mind helping you out a bit more on that end."
"I'm sorry we can't find a solution to this quickly," Alisa began. "Unfortunately, we'll just have to roll with the punches. Do you need to go now, though?" Amane turned over to Alisa. Everything's just been happening all so fast and quickly, so it can be quite overwhelming. I honestly don't mind helping you out a bit more on that end." It would be a bit strange considering Amane is still trying to forget Alisa's...more unique art work but...
"...thank you. If you don't mind, I would like someone to walk with to the grocery store." Amane needed to get tonight's dinner anyway.

Amane thanked me and asked me if it was okay for me to accompany her to the grocery store. Well, looks like there's nothing wrong with that. Besides, I don't think I could leave a young girl like her all alone at this time of the day. "Well, sure, I'll come along with you. I guess I can buy some stuff for myself as well while we're there." I smiled softly and warmly at Amane. Yeah, I guess I could get some dinner there as well. Maybe look for other supplies at the grocery. And I wouldn't be alone this time. "By the way, I get the feeling I did something wrong before to you... You mind chatting with me about that on the way there?"
"Well, sure, I'll come along with you. I guess I can buy some stuff for myself as well while we're there." Amane walked along side Alisa for awhile. Amane still didn't exactly know what opinion to form of Alisa. She is a nice person to be around at least. Plus she knew Ran...okay it was a bit flimsy to trust the judgement of another even if she did like Ran but..."By the way, I get the feeling I did something wrong before to you... You mind chatting with me about that on the way there?" Amane felt her spine shuddered.
H-how does one even properly answer that question? One can't just say "Oh I took a look at the explicit artwork you created." No no no no, that direction of the conversation would just go south. Not to mention it would force her to remember that which she gazed upon.
"N-nothing." Amane looked away...now turning red. "I just..." Amane looked over at Alisa. "...I'm not good at talking people."

I looked at Amane quizzically as I tried to figure out if I said something wrong again. "You're not good at talking with people? I dunno about that, you seemed perfectly fine earlier... I'm sorry," I sighed and looked away from Amane, trying to ignore the fact she turned red, since that probably had something to do with it. "Uh, were you looking at a bad part of my site? I think that might have something to do with it. Kids aren't supposed to look at that, you know, it might be mentally scarring or damaging..." I shrugged and sighed in mild annoyance as I recalled definitely putting an age discretionary warning in there. If I didn't, I'd just have to make a better one.
"You're not good at talking with people? I dunno about that, you seemed perfectly fine earlier... I'm sorry," Amane was now feeling bad that she made that up on the fly (despite the fact that it was somewhat true.) "Uh, were you looking at a bad part of my site? I think that might have something to do with it. Kids aren't supposed to look at that, you know, it might be mentally scarring or damaging..." Amane was steaming now.
"It would be in poor form for an investigator not to research every detail of the site!" Amane said in a vain excuse as she ruffled her fingers in her hair in frustration and embarrassment. "B-besides I-I thought it would just be a little bit of nudity or blood here or there and..." Amane was now covering her face in embarrassment.

I sighed as Amane tried to bullshit some flimsy excuse to look at the stuff I did, which I was now fairly certain was tagged as incredibly explicit and graphic and should not be seen by minors. "Well, I was pretty certain I put very verbose warnings in there. Maybe you were just trying to test your bravery and courage," I jokingly threw at Amane as we were both probably approaching the store by now. "Well, I'm sorry if that was bad for you, it wasn't my fault you decided to look at it after all. I can't control what other people do," I simply said, sighing but still managing to shoot a small smile at Amane, I was indeed trying to defuse the awkward tension that must have come from that little short exchange.
"Well, I was pretty certain I put very verbose warnings in there. Maybe you were just trying to test your bravery and courage," Alisa said jokingly. "Well, I'm sorry if that was bad for you, it wasn't my fault you decided to look at it after all. I can't control what other people do," Amane sighed. Alisa was right, by the end of the day it was Amane's fault for dare clicking that link despite all the warnings.
"Ah well...I'll just throw it in the back of my mind. I'll just say...good work." Amane can't deny it was well drawn after all. She saw the grocery store in the distance. IT was a good thing this conversation is done. Talking about gazing into explicit material is not exactly she wants other people over hearing. "Do you live alone?"
Post by Ayakura Alisa on May 4, 2014 9:01:49 GMT -5
I shrugged and soon Amane asked if I lived alone. "Yeah, I currently live alone. I take care of everything in my flat. My parents used to live with me because we would work together on the information network, but they were killed by Shadows at the floating castle," I said and looked up at the sky, reminiscing about when I gained Vasuki, and how I was able to come to terms with my failure and how I had to accept that I was... who I was. We were all flawed, and we had to deal with those flaws accordingly. "So, now I do everything on my own and I have to earn my keep. As well as investigate the Shadows, and also now investigate the appearance of demons. All in all, my job's become... quite an undertaking."
"Yeah, I currently live alone. I take care of everything in my flat. My parents used to live with me because we would work together on the information network, but they were killed by Shadows at the floating castle," Amane's eyes widened upon what she heard. There was the fact that Alisa said such things so casually. "So, now I do everything on my own and I have to earn my keep. As well as investigate the Shadows, and also now investigate the appearance of demons. All in all, my job's become... quite an undertaking."
"I see..." Amane said as they walked on inside the grocery store. "I live on my own too..." Amane looked around the various isle before picking up a basket for herself. However, she stopped herself there. Amane wasn't going to tell her the details of her situation.
