Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

This was the first time Kyle'd ventured over to the executive building. He'd decided to give the museum a break for a while, since he heard that a big time boss had been fought there. Phoebe haunted this place a lot so he half expected to run into her as he wandered around the place. The atmosphere of the place was different from the museum; there was... a tightness in the air, as if the place was waiting for the other shoe to drop, somehow. Kyle wasn't sure what it meant but it intrigued him and inspired him to investigate.
Sitri paced along after him, looking on with boredom as Kyle broke down a door using his axe. The wood cracked and groaned in resistance, but eventually Kyle had hacked it to pieces and stepped on through into what had been a financial advisory office.
He always found these places incredibly boring.

"Oh what the fuck?" Kyle blurted, catching eye of the Shadow. "We got tank Shadows now?"
He frowned and immediately summoned Sitri. He wasn't very worried because the damn thing looked so slow, but then it actually fired at him and Kyle was hit by a powerful, blunt blow that sent him sprawling to the floor, cursing and laughing simultaneously.
"God dammit, little shit packs a punch," he scoffed. "Sitri, give him a zap, see how he likes it!"
Sitri snarled and spread his wings, roaring skywards and calling down a sizable bolt of lightning that knocked the creature backwards.
"Sukukaja!"
Yeah, a bit of a speed boost wasn't gonna hurt. It allowed Kyle to dodge the next incoming attack fairly easily and enabled him and Sitri to get into a pretty good position for a powerful slash attack from the side. Sitri's paw came down and with it a loud thunking noise of a dropped blade, knocking the Shadow aside. Sitri then hit it with another thunder attack. The Shadow slumped a bit and seemed dazed, so Kyle had a go at it with a dark spell.
He noticed, with some degree of satisfaction, that Sitri's Dark attack had grown stronger and it covered a pretty huge area. It was a blanket of deep, almost liquid darkness that had a viciously smothering quality to it. The Shadow struggled in its clutches, just to fall in one decisive strike from Kyle's axe.
Another Shadow had bit the dust.
