Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.
Amane climbed up the executive building stairs. She forgot how many she counted by she was relieved that the first time she went this far from the gap, things haven't been going so bad...she shouldn't jinx it. She looked left and right as she climbed on what she estimated to be the 41st floor. Amane tapped her staff on the ground. The floor seemed solid enough despite being abandoned.
"Coast clear..." Amane said to herself as she walked forward. She shuddered as she heard something collapse behind her. She quickly ran back to check the stairs...which aren't exactly in good condition this time. Amane took a deep breathe to calm herself down. Don't worry, this was a big building maybe she can find her way out. She just had to turn around, walk down this hall way and..."Ack!" Panic at the first sign of something walking toward her.

Death will greet you tonight.
Death will greet you with open arms.
Kaitou ran up the stairs of the executive building, breathing raggedly. His face was nearly pale and he was covered in a cold sweat. As the hours passed on today, the rumbling echo of his impending end grew in volume until a cacophony of noise flooded his mind, drowning out all coherent thoughts. His feet led him out of the city and to the Shadowlands, but the cries only became more deafening as he traversed further in. Before he knew it, he was ascending the Shadow-filled building like his life depended on it. And perhaps it did.
By the time he reached the 41st floor, his head had all but burst from the maddening cries of the voice. However, the instant he stepped foot on the dilapidated tiles, the noise came to a complete halt, leaving the brunet to stand in complete silence as his eyes darted around. Relief should have washed over now that the echoes in his mind had gone still, but instead all the hairs on his body began to stand on end.
'Death will greet me... here.' The thought weighed down heavily in his conscious for a few moments before he snapped out of his alarmed daze. Kaitou shook his head rapidly before drawing his sword, holding it idly at his side. 'No. I'll be fine. Stupid fucker can't tell me when I will or won't kick the bucket--'
Again Kaitou was interrupted, this time by the sound of a startled girl's voice from across the hall. He tilted his head, taking a look at her before responding. She seemed to be prepared for combat with that staff, so he was likely facing a User. "Oi," he called, waving lightly. "I'm not a Shadow, so relax."

Xain wandered into the executive skyscraper. He was experiencing readings that were telling him that there was something big in the area of the tower. Having only had the encounters with the attack during the full moon and the odd experience in the subway, the android was worried that something else like that may occur.
He reached one of the highest floors available and stopped. He saw two people, and the robot couldn't recognize either of them. The girl pricked his recognition systems slightly, so he couldn't tell if she had been at the large fights or no. Still, with a grim face he gave a slight wave.
He then activated the mechanisms to slide back his hands and reveal the spears hidden underneath. Satisfied with this, he walked on in search of the Shadow that was giving off such a large reading.
Footsteps. Alpha-grade signals. This place was to be another hotspot. As usual, something was going to pop out from nowhere and attack a group of Users assembled around the source. By now, he wouldn't be surprised over what would occur after that. As if everything followed a script, the fighters would fight while the people on the rear lines focused their debilitating spells upon the enemy. It was becoming tedious for the android. If he were capable of making the choice, he'd choose to stay home and read some American Beatnik poetry.
No, he couldn't do that. Otherwise, the hammering sensation wouldn't stop. This was the kind of pain that would get worse and worse untreated. After ten minutes or so, it get so bad that he'd unconsciously move himself toward the source as quickly as he could. Crux was wise enough to not let that happen, so he came the second the signal appeared on his radar.
He went higher and higher, up the skyscraper. He stopped on the floor where the signal was coming from. The 41st floor was unremarkable, or his attention to detail was disrupted by the noise of the growing 'team'. A sigh escaped from his lips. It was unavoidable.

Kyle'd been rummaging around the executive building floor for a while, fighting some Shadows and grabbing some stuff he could sell to the salvage lady. He swung his axe and decapitated another Shadow that stood in his way, then swung around to face yet another one. It was a fairly big Gigas type and Sitri snarled at it, crouched on the ground with his ears swung flat and his tail swishing angrily.
"Sitri, Fatal End."
The Persona swung his paw and struck the Shadow with a powerful bladed stroke. The Shadow seemed to be weak to Slash and was knocked down so hard that it crashed clean through the floor, causing Kyle to gape.
Shit, is the floor here that weak?!
He hurried over to the hole and getting on his knees, looked down. The Shadow had landed on the floor below in a rain of dust and debris where it dissolved. Sheepishly, Kyle winced and noticed that there were people just beyond the where the Shadow had crashed.
"Uh... s'up. Sorry about that, guys."
Unceremoniously he swung his legs over the side and slid through the hole, landing on his feet on the floor below. He'd seen all of them in the last full moon battle. New Bloods, most of them - and there was that annoying robot guy who didn't speak.
"What's going on, what's everyone doing here?" Kyle asked, dusting his clothes off while Sitri squeezed down the hole after him, landing with a thump and proceeding to lie down lazily beside him and flick his tail.
"We are so accustomed to disguise ourselves to others that in the end we become disguised to ourselves."

At first, the executive building was still, with not a noise to be heard. A silent wind blew through the partially broken in windows, rustling a few loose papers. It was absurdly quiet. But like all silence, there is an end.
A file cabinet fell over off in the far corner of the room away from everyone else. Then another in another corner. Their banging echoed through the floor that the users were on, followed by the sound of dragging. The banging and dragging became more frequent as the noises began to converge on the users' location. A storm of paper jolted up into the air surrounding them through all of this noise, shrouding the happenings going on just in front of them. When the paper storm finally came to a halt, the papers were sucked into the various files cabinets that had being dragging themselves around. These filing cabinets were now connected forming what appeared to be a large humanoid shape. Smashing a nearby desk, the shadowfied cabinet man looked at the humans with tiny purple eyes that glowed through the darkness.
Xain simply stared at the shadow. He honestly couldn't believe what he was seeing. The large presence was a monster of papers and filing cabinets? Xain looked over himself. Was he experiencing a malfunction? There was no possible way that the enemy he was faced with was just a paper golem.
Still, even if the enemy was ridiculous, the android had to fight it. At least, he had to until his malfunction wore off.
He looked around at the others who had gathered- he was certain he knew one of them. It was the man who nearly attacked him in the subway. The android started to massage where hios temples would be were he human. He was starting to have what was known as a "migraine." This couldn't get much worse. The robot was waiting for the man to attack him completely this time.
With a small sigh and shake of the head, Xain looked at the shadow. He figured fire would be the most effective against it; slash would probably have a good effect as well. Still, the android specialized in Pierce. It was this that he attacked with, summoning his Persona and hitting the golem twice.
He hoped someone here could apply buffs, but he doubted it. He would need to help develop Dominion in such a way. Still, the divine being was able to hold its own, the android could live with that.
"Oi," Amane let out a deep breathe of relief as she saw that the person she nearly ran into was human. A brown haired boy a fair bit taller than her and using a sword. "I'm not a Shadow, so relax." Easier said than done...but Amane has calmed a little, her grip lightening. Amane slowly turned over to see a blonde haired individual walking over...and then hearing the sighing of a black haired individual. This building was attracting a crowd wasn't it?
Amane shrieked once she saw the rubble from the ceiling and looked up the hole. She recognized the black haired boy who looked through the hole that he likely created.
"Uh... s'up. Sorry about that, guys." Kyle, as Phoebe refereed to him, swung on down. "What's going on, what's everyone doing here?" Amane sighed at the chaos before her before she then heard banging. She looked over to see a file cabinet fly over. Her eyes widened upon realizing what they were forming.
Amane gazed up at the shadow now made of filing cabinets. It looks like she wormed her way out of disaster right back into another. She lowered her staff and backing away. No way can she bat away a filing cabinet should it throw one at her. For now, it is best to dismantle the creature. Silky started to seep out of her body.
"Silky!" The fairy launched a blast of wind over at the filing cabinets.
