Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

It was time for another trip into the library in the citadel of shadows. Holly was still insisting on reading all of the books even though it'd take her an eternity to do so. It kind of pissed her off, but she was desperate to learn anything new about the situation and sacrifices had to be made. In this case, the sacrifice was her time, and that was a very difficult sacrifice to make. Hopefully it would be worth it in the end. She was pretty sure it would pay off eventually, as she was an optimist, but only time would tell.

Right when it looked like she might be finding something interesting a pack of shadows appeared right on cue. Holly cracked her knuckles and her auto-buffs activated. As always, she weakened the enemy and as always one of those fuckers responded by throwing a huge fireball at her face. Holly was not amused, but she couldn't say she wasn't used to this by now. It was just annoying. The other one just lazed about. It was kind of trying to run towards her, but it looked like the thing just wasn't really feeling it. So, her course was clear: murder the shadow that threw the fireball at her. Her knives ripped through it like it was made of paper and it evaporated on the spot. The other one didn't take much more. It just couldn't seem to work up the energy to attack for some reason.

One of the monsters dropped the armor it was wearing, but it looked inferior to the stuff she was already wearing. Looks like she'd be stealing more money from the weapon shop guy. Sometimes she wondered if anyone actually bought anything from him. Holly shrugged, grabbed the armor and went back to looking through the book she was reading before she was rudely interrupted. Unfortunately, it didn't turn out to be as interesting as she thought it would be. With a shrug, she put it back on the shelf and continued looking through the rest of the books on the shelf.
