Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Her strolls into the library could hardly be called adventurous anymore. The shadows were fairly easy and she wasn't finding anything interesting there anymore. She already explored the layout pretty thoroughly and didn't see anything interesting and even after her many hours of searching through all the books there, she hadn't found anything useful in them either. It was kind of depressing. Holly was making a pretty noticeable dent in them though, so she could at least see her progress through them now. It would still take awhile to look through them all, but just being able to see how far she'd come gave her a bit more motivation to finish.
Two shadows, no problem. Her buffs activated and she weakened the enemies as always. The enemies responded by doing absolutely nothing to her. The first used wind, which just healed her non-existent wounds, and the other threw the ever traditional fireball at her face. Of course, because she can't go one fucking battle without having some kind of fireball thrown at her. She opted to start with the one that threw the wind at her, but rather than use her wind knives, she used her regular ones. If the shadow was using wind there was a reasonable chance that it was immune to it after all. They shredded through the poor thing like it was made of wet tissue and it disappeared after just one attack.
And well, the other either couldn't hurt her or wouldn't, so it didn't take much longer for it to go down either.
With that, Holly turned back to the shelves and started looking through the books again. She wasn't even phased, really it was like the battle never even happened. They were so weak that they didn't even scratch her. She probably just got lucky, but who really cared at this point? None of the shadows here even gave her much of a challenge anymore. It was just as well because it meant that she could spend more time looking through all the books, but she still couldn't help but feel a little disappointed. Doing this was not nearly as much fun as it used to be.
