Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Luka hesitantly walked towards the entrance of the now abandoned underground city terminal. This was the best way to exit the main city without being spotted by the police. Well, as far as she knew anyway. Entering the dark tunnel, she recalled how dark the tunnel would be. Certainly, it would be quite a pain to walk its entire distance in the dark. Not to mention it would be quite dangerous. She really wasn't one to talk after having done it twice now. She got through both times with little difficulty, though the strange woman from the other side told her that this wouldn't always be the case. The things that had attacked her on her first visit, the Shadows, would certainly be looming around every corner. But then again, this was her purpose for being here, right?
Luka knew that the city was in danger. She wanted everyone inside the city to remain safe, even if it meant risking her own life. But this also raised a question. How many people knew about the dark secret the "police" were hiding? How many knew about what lie outside the safety of the city. And finally, how many others chose to fight? As far as she knew, only her and that strange blonde woman knew; and that woman stated that she was not here to fight.
Though, she was here to help as she explained further. She even gave Luka some strange "gun" and explained its methods of use. With it, she would once again be able to summon her persona. She would be able to fight against the things that may bring harm to her city. She was prepared for it; ready to give her life at a moment's notice.

Walking down the dark corridor, Luka prepped herself for anything to come. She had left her old Naginata at home by accident after going to all the trouble to find it. It would have certainly come in handy in a fight. Or so she thought. She was never any good with it, but who knows? Maybe she got better after all those years. On that thought, Luka heard something from around the corner. Hiding behind some rubble, she slowly slid herself around to get a better look. However, midway she managed to trip and fall prone. She was completely exposed to an attack if she didn't hurry and get up. Quickly recovering, she saw a group of shadows that were now aware of her presence.
Slowly, the group began to descend upon her. Backing up slightly, she tried to get a good idea of how and when they all would be attacking. Pulling out her "evoker," Luka placed it to her head and pulled the trigger. With a large *bang* the beautiful woman from before, her persona, appeared. Focusing, she sent an ice attack at the one closest to her, completely destroying it. However the remaining ones now had an opportunity to attack. The first one sent out a power gust of wind that slammed into Luka. Staggering a bit, she kept her balance. But that wouldn't be for long. Noticing the shadow now lunging at her, Luka dove behind the rock from before, escaping the blow. Once again, she sent out a bolt of ice at the one who had lunged at her. She wanted to avoid taking any physical hits like that. The shadow dissipated immediately, leaving the final one to deal another gust of wind. Taking the full attack while still prone, Luka sent her persona to unleash one last attack. Mudo. And with that, the final shadow began to shriek in pain until it seemed to be dismantled in a rather horrific way. She had won.

With a sigh, Luka got back up and examined the scene. She was exhausted and felt the need to head back already. She was planning to go visit the woman from before, but that didn't seem like a good idea any more. Sure, she might be able to patch her up a bit but what if she ran into something else midway? It wasn't worth the risk. She had school in the morning. Luka's inability to fight was beginning to get to her. Just how would she ever even get outside if she was to be overwhelmed by such small amounts of enemies? Than again, she was used to being useless. Why would this ever be any different here? And yet, despite her protests she refused to quit. She knew she would fail, but Luka felt that she at least owed the world that much. If she could do some right, it would be fine.
