He eyed the patron across from him for a moment before looking down at the table. It was around five thirty when he intially arrived at Café Musain it was one of the best Cafés in town and Vergil figured he deserved a break after all the insane as well as inane challenges he'd been put through as of late his bandaged right hand, or wrist rather being the greatest testament to that. He'd found the Café a little over a year ago shortly after he moved into the city. Vergil had heard rumors around town about the nice little spot especially after hours. A good local jazz band frequented the establishment and it's pastries among other foods weren't too bad either. He often came to the little side establishment after a test or a fight, whenever he needed to cool off or after a success of sorts. However in the past couple of months his 'spot' had become more popular by an increasing margin and so when he arrived there didn't seem to be much space. He had a taste for something sweet this evening and so despite the influx of people Vergil decided to go for it he had to squeeze past more than a few people, but overall not too much trouble, or at least until he got stuck behind some really big guy who either opted against or couldn't afford the luxury of deodorant he figured it was the former. As he looked for a way away from the man he happened to see a free chair, looks like today was his lucky day. He weaved his way past the man like he would in one of his official matches eyeing him annoyedly as he passed only to make his way to a seat. It was only after he sat down that Vergil noticed a lady around his age sitting across from him. It was foolish to think he'd find a free table in this situation, the man muttered something that sounded like a curse under his breath, before looking over at the other patron across the circular table. He by no means planned to jump back up into the crowd he'd narrowly managed to avoid, however he didn't exactly wanna jump at someones table uninvited. He figured he'd sit here until the commotion cleared up a bit, regardless of how rude it was. He wasn't however barbaric enough not to say anything though the thought did however cross his mind. "So uh, pretty frigid out there today huh..." Vergil slid a hand through his dreadlocks as he spoke at a loss of sorts. He didn't stutter but it was obvious small talk wasn't his strong suit, he didn't really see a need to introduce himself as he wouldn't be here long, but hey at least his presence was known right? The man felt like lighting a smoke, but he didn't need to make any worse of an impression. |
