Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Luka had been neglecting her explorations in the outer areas of the circle. This wasn't too much of a bad thing considering the things that she had been doing to occupy her time were things well worth the time spent. Being one of the only people who seemed strong enough to go down here though, she felt at least a little obligated to make regular runs down here. It was funny how something she had done regularly to become more powerful had become something of a chore. She hadn't become annoyed with protecting the city. Quite the contrary. She simply had much better means of doing so. And with those other methods taking up such a large portion of her time, it wasn't odd that she would be neglecting trips like these.
Making her way into the chasm that she had come to learn quite well, the girl readied her flashlight and made sure her evoker was close on hand.

Making her way through the mouth of the chasm, Luka was met with little aggression. Nothing hostile seemed to appear for a good ways down as she checked each corner of the path she took with her flashlight. It wasn't until a few minutes in that she heard a peculiar rolling noise. Grabbing for her evoker quickly, the girl began to charge for a preemptive attack. And just as the enemies rolled in, she knew that she was ready. There were two of them, and they seemed to be rather large wheels of sorts. They were odd targets, but targets nonetheless.
Aiming for the first one, Hel materialized next to Luka and sent out a beam of darkness at one of them. A powerful attack that caused the enemy to stutter a bit and slow down its advance. From there, she began to charge again as the second wheel made its way over to her. As it attempted to roll straight into her, Luka went for a dodge to the side and avoided the attack all together. Then turning to the enemy that was still making its advance, she decided to try out her other attack on the target. Hel sent out a ray of ice that froze the target completely, causing it to slowly crumble as it rolled towards her. That was one down.
Turning to face the enemy that had missed her, she felt the large wheel smack straight into her. Her body flew a good ways to the side before it came to a dragging stop. Well, now she knew how getting punched felt, she figured. Getting up quickly, she began to charge herself again for a more powerful attack. The wheel was rather insistent of knocking her over it seemed as it was still rolling towards her. She wasn't about to get hit again, though. Timing her dodge, the girl sidestepped out of the wheel's way and turned to hit it with another ice attack. Seeing as the other one seemed to like ice, maybe this one did? The attack landed, but didn't really bring the result she was hoping for. Charging herself one more time, she hoped this would be the last time she would have to play matador for this wheel.
As her mental capacity was being drained, Luka took a bit more time than before to charge up her attack. This gave the wheel enough time to turn around and execute another drive by. But rather than do that, the wheel stopped and began to charge itself. Looking above, Luka noticed a bright white light form above her that proceeded to descend. It was do or die, it seemed. Luka opted to finish charging, then send out another Ice attack. Another effective hit. Of course, it came at the cost of being hit herself. The large mass of energy hit her with a considerable amount of force, bringing her to a single knee. Breathing heavily, the girl looked up again once more at the wheel. she could charge up another attack again, but no. She decided to go for the kill. A regular ice attack, that was plenty powerful on its own, was sent out at the enemy. The attack landed, causing the wheel to slow to a halt where it promptly fell to its side and dissolved. That seemed to be the end of that.

Giant wheels seemed to be the new popular shadow down here. Luka was beginning to think back to the days of fighting small puddle-like enemies in the middle of an abandoned terminal. Looking at where she was now, those days seemed much more peaceful. Or at the very least, safer. Going down a giant chasm to fight large wheels that wanted to ram into you sounded much less appealing in comparison. But Luka knew that she had to do it. It was her duty. A self-imposed duty, sure; but one that she knew needed to be done. Every day she seemed to get a bit stronger, to go a bit further. It was gradual, but it was there.
Dusting herself off from the fight, the girl decided to head home and wash her clothes again. Luckily, the majority of the girl's wardrobe was rather sturdy.
