Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Feeling revitalized enough to keep moving on little more than sore legs and enough pain in the rest of her body to remind Layla that she couldn't keep this up forever, Layla made her way deeper into the factory. The farther she went in, the less recognizable everything got. While earlier she was able to clearly make out an assembly line and most of the machinery to go with it, deeper in things devolved much more into twisted masses of wreckage. The good news of that was that she was less likely to get caught in pitched chase battles along conveyor belts...but also the bad news. For as hard as those shadows had hurt, that battle was fun. Although...maybe she'd get lucky and find something to top it.

Sure enough, only a few seconds later a gigantic wheel-like shadow came tearing down one of the smoother masses of wreckage, aiming right toward her. Still in the mindset of her last battle, Layla cut past it, keeping enough distance that she couldn't get hit, while still close enough that it would hopefully have trouble turning around to continue chasing her. As she passed, she drew her second, still intact otta, and swung it in a snapping motion at the spokes of the wheel. Instead of getting caught in them like before, though, the weapon simply bounced off harmlessly. Meanwhile, the wheel spun around with only a little more effort than normal, turning almost on a dime. Spikes emerged from the frame of the wheel, just below the lion's head on its front, and launched themselves at Layla.
Well, that was new. Her weapon had no effect at all, and it had a ranged attack that wasn't lightning. That was the bad news, though. The good news was that that meant lightning attacks of her own were fair game. Summoning Yamantaka, Layla called down a bolt of lightning on the massive wheel. The wheel didn't seem to take any extra damage, unfortunately, but it didn't seem to resist it either. That was good. Then so long as any more shadows didn't show up...Layla looked around just in case, but the wheel really did seem to be the only one around. In that case, she would be able to finish it before she ran out of energy.
The wheel revved up again, then charged toward Layla. With a few more seconds to react than when it was already moving, Layla ducked behind a piece of the wreckage: a mass of sheet metal that appeared to have been bent down from above her. Upon identifying it as that, Layla realized that there was no way that it would stop the wheel, and discovered once it struck the sheet metal that she was half right. By some miracle, it did break the wheel's momentum, but another pair of spikes had appeared under its face, and had pierced straight through the metal. The moment the wheel stopped, the spikes launched themselves and hit Layla.
"This isn't working," Layla said, backing away from the punctured sheet metal. With fresh wounds on her sides and, so far, two complete failures to completely avoid the wheel's attacks, she decided that there was no point trying to avoid them. Instead, she'd just have to fall back on killing it before it could kill her. She called forth Yamantaka for a second bolt of lightning, thankful that things like lightning strikes didn't require anything as silly as a clear shot between her and the target. The wheel, meanwhile, managed to edge around the wreckage separating it from Layla, revved up a second time, and slammed straight into her. Layla was bowled over by the attack as the wheel rolled over her. Within a few seconds though, she was unsteadily getting back to her feet, once again thankful that her persona made her much more resilient than a normal person. She then returned fire with a third Zio, setting the wheel off-balance as it swerved around for another pass. Instead of running straight into her again, it started smashing wildly into anything and everything into its path. Taking advantage of its sudden aimlessness, Layla made a break for another piece of wreckage and started climbing until she was level with the top of the wheel's frame. Even if it meant she wouldn't be able to keep going after this battle, she could still have her chase.
Jumping onto the wheel's frame as it smashed into the twisted mess of machinery that Layla had climbed, she held onto the mane of the lion bust for dear life as it continued slamming into everything within a few feet of it, before finally throwing itself against a ruined conveyor belt, pitching forward, and throwing Layla off and straight into the wall. She fell flat against with enough force that the wheel might have run headlong into her again, then peeled away and slumped to the ground. The wheel spun to a stop on the ground in front of her and began turning to retreat for one final pass.
Drawing on every ounce of strength she had left, Layla forced herself to stand again and summoned Yamantaka, calling down one final lightning strike as the wheel revved up to run into her again. As the lightning hit it fell off balance, dropping flat against the ground and spinning in place until finally exploding into a shadowy mess.
