Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

I decided to return to the hospital, a good time after the clash with the spider creature nurse from Hell, on a venture to see how well I could control the power of Shax. Shax was starting to serve quite the influence on my psyche, and I could tell that in order to optimize my combat capabilities against the Shadows I needed to keep what he said in check and make sure I didn't succumb to going mad. There was a barrier here, wasn't there? Yes, there was. But we took care of that problem. Izayoi and my bow continued to be trusty weapons here, but this time, with Shax's guidance, it was possible to properly take on the forces of darkness that pervaded the area. It also was a good opportunity to see how far I could get on my own merits this time, instead of piggybacking on those who had this particular ability. Exploring the newly uncovered area, I continued on my way, eyeing the destroyed apparatus and the chairs and trays and racks strewn around the corridors. These were the hospital wards, weren't they? I shuffled through some of them hoping to find traces or evidences of life that could actually be useful for something instead of something inevitably destroyed by Shadow life and activity.

Snaking around the hallways of the hospital I soon eventually careened to a halt as I saw what appeared to be a giant like what I saw in the mines, but... it was different. It... it looked like a nurse? I... What. Someone's certainly in character, don't you think? I sighed and rubbed my forehead to make sure what I was looking at wasn't fake. It was definitely real. Soon, it turned around and saw me in my stupor of amazement. It raised a fist and started lumbering towards me. I sighed, I was definitely afraid. A little afraid, anyway. I noticed it had a reasonably sized syringe (to ITS proportions anyway) and it raised them at me. Alisa, I'm afraid I don't like needles, so this'll sting a little. Why would a Marquis of Hell be afraid of needles! Please, I don't need this! Pulling out Izayoi, I made my approach cautiously, yet it shot twice from its syringe, and I felt the blows, tried to tank them, but I couldn't help but yelp at how hard it hurt! It did sting. Not just a 'little.' S, see what I mean? Ahhh, quiet down, I'm the vessel here.
Letting my right arm crackle with electricity once more, I soon released a bolt of thunder at the nurse abomination, which it seemed to do exceptional damage to. Yet, while it seemed in pain, it began to laugh, as if mocking me. It pounded its chest with its free arm and a warm light of healing enveloped it... and any damage I seemed to have done to it was completely gone. It had... a full healing spell?! Groaning, I rubbed my head. This wasn't my day. Weaken it slowly. Make it complacent. Let it forget. Cryptic advice, is that your specialty? Alright, I got it. Let it think it's not in danger and then go for a decisive blow. Lunging forward despite the pain, I clashed my knife against its fist as it was raised, ready to punch me - my knife started to plunge into a knuckle, but it felt nothing. Soon, Shax materialized and raised his wings, slicing through the nurse THING and causing some minor damage. It was definitely more than my puny knife, anyway. I needed an upgrade or something.
It stepped back and tried again to punch me, this time, my arm was crackling with electricity once more, yet it happened to be faster than my spell charging, and I felt a fist to both my face and my chest, causing me to fly into the wall and flop over. "...Ow." Having gone through your thoughts and memories, I can already agree with the assessment of that maid... You're probably both incredibly brave and incredibly stupid to have done that. Don't judge, Shax. Now's not the time. Standing up weakly, my body began shivering. The nurse gigas laughed again as it healed itself to shake off any damage we had just dealt. "Goddamnit!" I cursed under my breath, kneeling and trying to stand up again. I powered through the pain, panting and groaning, my left arm crackling with electricity as I tried to force my body to release another electric burst. It got it straight at the nurse's face, which appeared to enrage it.
You done good, girl. I grumbled, ignoring the quips in my mind as I weakly held Izayoi as tight as I could. It started charging. Raising a fist. I stood still, waiting for it to reach me. As it did, bringing its fist down to smite me, I stumbled to the side and made it punch straight through the wall, causing its fist to get stuck. I panted, slinked around behind the nurse, and drove my knife into its back. I tried to get it out, but it was stuck in its back as well. It didn't seem to feel it very much. Sighing, I watched it struggle as, for the last time, I shot another bolt of electricity at it. Panting and feeling my body ache and burn up, I saw the gigas continue to struggle, though the electricity caused it so much pain. It was still alive. I growled and pulled out my bow since my knife was still stuck in it, and continued to shoot arrows into it. They did close to nothing. The gigas got its fist out and growled as it turned around, arrows and my knife stuck into its back like a pincushion. It managed to punch my knee out as I stumbled backwards, and all I could do was continue to shoot my weak arrows at it. However, some landed in its chest and finally one landed in its eye, which seemed to be the tipping blow as its own anger prevented it from healing all the damage I had done.
It fell over and promptly started to dissipate, causing everything stuck to it to fall to the ground. I crawled on the ground to collect Izayoi, before wiggling to a wall and lying there in pain. "Ow."
