Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Proceeding further into the hospital, the mute took a moment to check her surroundings. No sounds. No mess, outside of dirt, dust, and broken things. No signs of enemies, even though she knew they were there. The air had that tainted scent that only a Shadow could produce. It made her stomach quiver. It reminded her of an event that was better left buried in the depths of her subconscious. A certain event only a little while ago in which she had plenty of the scent blasted into her nostrils while she herself evacuated her stomach.
Yeah, it'd be better to be completely banished. Shaking her head quickly, she proceeded further into the halls of the hospital.

Sayu blinked as not one, but two particularly large, muscular, and entirely annoying-looking giants stepped out. Shaking her head slightly, she called forth the card to materialize Tamamo, shattering it and grinning slightly. They wanted to outnumber her? Okay. That was fine. She was capable of some high-tier crowd control. Asswipes were gonna rue the second they appeared before her, because Nakano Sayu was not in the mood to play games, especially not with some Shadows! They started to shift towards her. They were slow to start, but she imagined they'd get faster if allowed the chance to build momentum.
”Tamamo, Maragidyne! Burn 'em both down!” She directed, fiercely tapping onto her phone as the AI voiced her words with passionate fury and distaste towards the Shadows. The kitsune took a drag on her pipe and allowed flames to engulf her arm before she waved, sending the infernal wave at the Shadows and knocking them back. They didn't seem to want to stay down with just that, though. They tried to charge again. The girl took action that time, taking three quick shots at the right left of the titan on the right, then three on the left leg of the left attacker. While not intended to put them down, or even stop them permanently, the damage was dealt when the cryogenic formula froze their feet to the ground. They broke the ice, sure, but not while keeping their posture. Both fell forward leaving them open for the girl's follow-up.
”Again, Maragidyne!” The second wave of fire surged forward, like a tidal wave from the lake of fire. With a silent laugh, DJ Nyanimaru put the backs of her wrists against her sides, puffing her chest out. She was pleased with the enemies' defeat--- . . . why were they getting back up, looking good as new? Bullshit. That did not fly. Not one bit. ”Again! Burn 'em down!” She ordered, the kitsune letting yet another wave of fire surge and engulf the Shadows. In response, the muscle duo charged themselves, flexing their muscles. The girl just used the chance to send yet another Maragidyne their way, readying her paintball gun to stop the enemies when they charged. The one on the right surged forward first, seeming to use its body as a shield to protect the one on the left. The girl just clicked her tongue and released about five balls, all on the titan's chest. Individually, they were not too amazing, but, as they froze its chest, the Shadow's very own attempt to attack ripped itself open. The girl just sidestepped, using the confusion to dodge the second Shadow altogether. The remaining titan smashed his ally's frozen remains by accident, looking absolutely confused as he was left on his own.
”Don't worry, dipshit. You're 'boutta join'em!” She declared before releasing a similar volley into the Shadow's back. Then, stepping away, she had Tamamo finish him off with a Maragidyne, scorching the walls and leaving a titan-shaped “clean” spot within the soot.

With the battle complete, Sayu took a moment to silently laugh. It was the laugh of a victor, but without the awkward bellowing that one would usually expect. Before she turned to leave, however, she noticed that one of the enemies had dropped something again. It was a rather nice-looking piece of armor. However, it had Shadow-parts on it. Or, rather, the stains from Shadow parts. This was a conundrum! It looked better than what she had, but it was dirty. Could Shadow-mess be cleaned out of armor? It was possible, but not a guarantee. Rocking on her heels, the girl turned over a few possibilities in her head. She could take it and use it if it could be gotten clean enough. If not, she could always sell it to another User.
. . . not a bad idea, all in all. Nodding to herself, she then proceeded to acquire the armor.
Without touching it with her gloves. She wasn't that desperate for it.
