Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Holly couldn't really say that she managed to fight off that last shadow. She wouldn't admit it to anyone else, but in her heart she knew that she got lucky that there was both only one and that it was as much of a pushover as it was physically. If she hadn't been able to throw it off the cliff like that she probably would not have won. Still, making use of her own personal strength and her ability to throw things didn't seem like that bad of an idea in this terrain.
Regardless, she was just happy to have a new place to explore. Even if she encountered no shadows (as if that would ever happen) investigating what caused all this to happen was its own reward.

Another single shadow, and this one could fly. Well, there went both of her obvious strategies. Normally she didn't like to fully buff herself or fully debuff an enemy because it took too long (and doing both was just out of the question), but considering the shadows' relative strength compared to her shitty attack power, it might be worth it. At the very least, it was hard to go wrong with one. Rings appeared around the shadow, quickly converging on it and then disappearing. This shadow's response was very similar to the other shadow's response: it flung a fireball right into her face. This time however, she was able to move out of the way fast enough that the fireball just exploded on some rocks behind her. That could get really dangerous really fast.
Holly continued debuffing the enemy, and the enemy used its tiny bow to send an impossibly large, bubbling arrow at her. She was barely able to turn her body just enough that it went flying past her chest and once again into the rocks behind her. Fortunately, this one did less damage. Grinning, she cast her final stack of Debilitate. Next round she'd begin attacking. The shadow fired another arrow at her, but at this point the shadow was so clumsy and slow that it had trouble shooting straight. She didn't even need to dodge this one, the arrow just went wide.
Holly called forth her persona once again, this time to blast it with wind, even if she couldn't really call her attack "a blast" anymore. It was just so small and pathetic compared to everything else she's seen. Oh well, it was at least able to hurt this shadow, and as long as it was having so much difficulty hitting her, this battle should be a cinch to win.

Okay, now that could be considered a legitimate fight, Holly folded her arms and nodded to herself obviously pleased. Her attacks may not be strong, but when shadows were in that state it's not like theirs were either. Basically, her trips through this place would probably result in long, kind of irritating fights, but she would win. Eventually. Dear god, when was she going to get a better attack? The universe could be so unfair sometimes.
Well, regardless she was still feeling fairly okay, so it couldn't hurt to poke around here some more. With that killer debuff she could probably run away if she needed to. Probably. Most likely.
