Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Tch...
Kyle glowered at the cemetery in front of him. He was still irritated at this place, unable to forget his last experience here. To get so humiliated...
And yet he'd come back, to look for some more trouble. He wanted to get better at this Persona thing and get stronger, fighting. He liked fights. And it felt better taking that out on Shadows than other people.
Because when he got into fights with other people, he often felt like he was acting just like his goddamn father. ...The fuck am I thinking about that bastard?
He grit his teeth and strode into the cemetery, hoping some Shadow would pop up and give him a good fight to get his mind off things. Dirt crunched underfoot and he kicked aside a stone as he headed for the catacombs.

The dorky-looking mage Shadow was just what Kyle needed. He scoffed at it's stupid appearance and swung the axe off his shoulder in a ready stance. He was just about to will Sitri to appear when the mage made a funny little gesture and Kyle felt some wind gathering. Not a good sign.
He jumped backwards suddenly as a blast of swirling wind sort of erupted where he'd been standing. It was pretty damn strong and Kyle had the impression that if it'd had hit him, it would've hurt a lot. He didn't want to give the thing another round so he concentrated and there came the floating, azure card.
"Persona!"
He swung the axe, cleaving the card in two and Sitri rushed forward directed to attack. He pounced and brought down his paw on the creature. A flash of light and the sound of a meaty chop accompanied the motion and the Magus was staggered from the impact. And then... the creature shivered. It just shivered from head to toe and started to backpedal away from Kyle hastily. He smirked. Interesting. The attack's changed. I thought only that spell thing could cause them to piss their pants but apparently, even a physical attack can do that... Arm Chopper. I'll remember that.
Kyle charged with the axe ready and he swung down hard. He caught the creature at the crook of the shoulder and the axe actually chopped all the way through, diagonally across the creature's sternum. The magus staggered backwards and dissolved into nothingness.
"Hell yeah," Kyle muttered with a grin.

With the Shadow taken care of, Kyle shouldered his axe once again and carried on, intending to do a little more exploration around the graveyard. Not too bad. I do not wish to be judged by the likes of you.
Get off it, fuzzball. We make a good team.
He briefly wondered if these Shadows ever dropped loot of any kind; he actually thought that this whole thing felt a lot like a video game. Heck, even Phoebe had suggested that. Good, at least that was an analogy he could get.
