Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Recovery was never a short process. It had been a full week after she 'died' before Layla was allowed to return to a normal life. And even then, she hadn't truly 'recovered'. As her seizure from before had demonstrated, the condition still lingered, and could come back to finish her off at any time. And now, here she was, recovering both from that and the massive amount of energy she had expended in her first failed attempt to get out of the hospital and return home. It couldn't have been more than an hour, maybe two if she really lost track of time, but when she was spending that hour in an abandoned hospital surrounded by monsters, every minute felt like an hour in its own right. In fact, she may have stressed herself out more from the waiting than in her first attempt to leave.
"If that's the case," Layla said to no one in particular, "It's only going to get worse if I stick around." She sat up and slid off the hospital bed, then made her way out into the hallway a second time.

This time, there was only one dancer waiting for Layla. Well, dancer pair. Like one of the last set, both of this pair wore labcoats, but otherwise had "ordinary" formal outfits underneath. One held a rapier, like each of the last trio, while the other was applying some strange liquid from a vial to it. Probably poison. Layla wasted no time summoning her Persona and hitting it with a flare of light. The shadow immediately responded by healing itself.
...Damn it all.
Too tired for subtlety, that was the best Layla could think as she directed Vajrabhairava to hit it again. At the very least, it was easy to tell that she was damaging it for more than it could heal itself for. She could tell this by how it was already in critical condition. It seemed to realize this too, as it instead opted to attempt to do the same to Layla with a blast of darkness. The darkness merely glanced off Layla, doing considerably less than what the shadow was probably expecting.
Then, deciding to conserve what energy she had left, Layla opted not to hit the shadow with light again, and moved in to strike at its vital points with her otta instead, finishing it off.
