Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

And so, Jaelyn was back in the hangars. Once again, she wanted to go explore the planes sitting around, possibly to strip them for crap to sell or to try to figure out how to work one, but she restrained herself. Neither would be doable if some shadows popped out and she was forced to deal with them. So instead, she decided to explore the floor for the time being. She still needed shadows to burn anyway, before the novelty of Caligula's power wore off.
...Hopefully, that time wouldn't come around any time soon. Much like with Andras's awakening, she was still feeling amazing in the wake of it all.

What the hell was that thing? That was all Jaelyn could think as a single shadow descended from above. It looked like a really fancy crown of some sort, with a mask beneath it and long hair flowing out from behind. In fact, that seemed to be exactly what it was: a person's head wearing a crown, except without the actual head. Whatever it was, it was going to burn. Jaelyn would make sure of that. She summoned Caligula and immediately hit the shadow with a blast of fire. The shadow's hair caught on fire, causing it to shriek as it called down some kind of aerial bombardment. Jaelyn recoiled from the force of the attack, much greater than she was used to dealing with from regular shadows. But she soon recovered and hit it again with another blast of fire. This time, the shadow countered with wind. Although it failed to avoid the damage from the second fiery explosion, it did managed to put its hair out, and catch Jaelyn in the wind blast as well. The attack utterly floored her, sending her rolling across the ground and leaving deep cuts over her body before subsiding. Now suitably angry but well aware that she wouldn't be able to take a second hit like that, Jaelyn retaliated one more time, putting all her power into a third explosive fireball, which burned the shadow to ashes and bits of charred metal.

Jaelyn groaned in pain as she took a few careful steps toward the remains of the shadow. Nothing of interest this time either. And with how that fight had gone, she wasn't going to be able to stick around much longer. Nothing to do but grab a few things to take to the crazy lady's junk shop and leave, then. Preferably before more shadows showed up. Especially shadows with wind attacks. So she did just that, picking up a few parts still sitting out near the same plane from last time, and made her way back out of the hangar. The inner city seemed like it was a long way away in her current state.
