Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Luka packed an extra large bag when she made another trip into the Citadel. She was more than comfortable going through the halls with little worry. She was becoming more confident in her ability of exploring here. So with little worry over her safety, she had plenty of opportunity to focus on collecting plenty of things to turn in to the blonde woman. Perhaps Luka had become a bit frivolous with the power she had obtained? Exploring these halls for longer periods meant making more money for herself. She was not about to forget her goals of saving the city, but being able to make plenty of money was another driving factor for her.

As Luka walked down one of the seemingly endless halls within the citadel, she noticed something quite a bit in the distance. From the looks of it, it was a shadow that resembled some sort of samurai. Luka tried narrowing her eyes to get a better view of it. Slowly, the shadow began to focus into her vision. When she did, she realized that the shadow was looking right at her and was preparing to charge.
Realizing this, the girl began to use mind charge so that she could at least prepare while the shadow came into a targetable range. And as it did, she began to notice a flurry of projectiles coming at her. Running off to the side, she hid behind a support pillar while her attack continued to charge up. Once satisfied with her charging, she jumped out from behind the pillar and shot a large mass of energy directly at the shadow, leaving little time for it to react. In an instant, the shadow was engulfed in the attack's mass where it disappeared for good once the darkness faded away. With a sigh, Luka simply continued down the hall as if nothing had happened.

Things in the citadel were slowly becoming much less of a threat to Luka. In a way, that was a good thing, but there wasn't anything else from which she could continue her ascent in power. These were the most powerful shadows in the outer circle, and yet, shouldn't that be where the answers to the incident should be? Yet, in these few months that she had been searching, she had come no closer to an answer. Just what should she have been looking for anyway? Would the answer even be found in this castle? Or somewhere else? Luka was suddenly realizing just how far from the answer she was. And the path to those answers could have been anywhere.
