Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

I made my way to the great halls of this hallowed place. Or this rather unholy place as it came to be known, I suppose? I had already been here before on a mission where I accompanied Ran to get a fancy jewel from a throne and we ran away from some giant lardass ogre thing and that was a terrible exercise in getting the hell out. Regardless, now that I felt I was strong enough to take on the enemies here on my own, especially with Hell Biker boosting my confidence and my own ability, I believed I'd probably be able to get a lot out of this trip. I could survey the environment and possibly attempt to see what was going on here, and I think Layla could get some information out of this. Sigh... I'm here now. Making my way inside the halls properly, I looked around. Most of the area looked the same as my first visit here. Wordlessly, I continued making my way forth. Hoping that something good would come out of my first actual visit here.

Surveying the environment I soon see a strange sight - a large beetle creature accompanied by his little friend the High Vizier of Whatever Kingdom. Okay? The beetle seemed to be very resilient physically, and I could tell it was going to be a bruiser as it began to charge up its own attack with a strange empowering energy. Charging my right arm with electricity again I shot a fierce bolt of lightning at the beetle, which caused it to flip up in the air and fall upside down. Well, it was still alive, but now it was spending its time spasming and having a seizure rather than doing anything productive like trying to maul me with its goddamn mandibles. Compensating for something? Regardless, I now turned my attention to the magus, waving its hands in an intimidating manner. I pulled out my bow and shot an arrow to its face. The arrow hit it in the forehead but it still stood, shivering as black ooze poured from its head down.
The magus responded by quickly chanting something, before launching a fierce blaze at me. I weathered the attack but this time I found myself not really burned much, though it still hurt. Was this Hell Biker's power? To resist fire? Regardless, whirling around I saw the beetle had finally gotten up and was soon approaching me, eventually it suddenly charged at me and I had no idea it was coming, but once its attack connected with me, I felt absolutely nothing, only being shoved back a little like I had been pushed by a friend who was joking around with me. "Oh, is that all?" I grinned almost subconsciously, as if Hell Biker had used me as a mouthpiece for a moment there. I have given you a newfound power, haven't I? Apparently so. Grinning, I charge up my left arm with electricity again and blast it point blank at the dumbfounded beetle, causing it to blow up into a puff of black smoke. The weakness to magic was looking to be a bit too much for it.
That just left the wizard, now frantically casting spells at me with an arrow stuck and latching onto its forehead. The ice and the winds and the fire all being thrown at me, yet all I could really feel pain from was the goddamn ice, even though I was confident I wasn't weak to it. Shivering from the chill I shot more arrows into the wizard, and soon as we threw projectiles at each other the wizard eventually fell first after I had turned it into a Shadow pincushion. Panting and sitting down in the middle of the empty hall, I heaved and breathed a sigh of relief. I was getting stronger.
