Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Continuing to trudge forward in the great halls of this particular structure, I soon realized that this particular lair was really patterned after that of a castle and the enemies that lurked within were mostly those that fit a medieval setting. Wizards, knights, and the like. Though of course there were figures that I could recognize originated from other areas, I still basically knew that I would need to keep a close eye on them if they did appear, as they were probably stronger than others. At the end of the day though, unfortunately, I didn't think I would find my answers here. I'd have to look deeper into the castle and find out if my answers lay there. I continued to move along hoping that there would be a way to unlock the deeper parts of the Shadow sanctum.
"Sigh. This is getting to be bothersome. Why is it so hard to find answers?"

I continued looking around and realized that I was battling something rather strange this time, was it the castle itself or was it an extension of the castle or what? Or was it something completely and totally separate? Whatever it was, I didn't want to leave it around because it certainly seemed tough. The good thing about it was that it was either stationary or just very flipping slow, so I could concentrate my attacks and offenses at just one spot. Charging up my right arm with electricity, I shot a bolt at the thing first to test the waters. It took it without any fuss, leading me to believe it was hardier than it seemed. Its response was to repeat my very action, shooting a bolt of electricity right back at me which zapped me as I was caught off guard! Pulling out my bow I started plugging arrows into it from various angles, it was lobbing fireballs at me so I was forced to strafe it as it began to float slowly, it turns out it wasn't stationary after all?
After some time, it froze in place and seemed to cast something on itself - it looked vaguely familiar... Ran had used that same spell many times in the past, so I could tell it was attempting to beef itself up and trying to make itself stronger. Cursing softly to myself I stood my ground and raised my arm to release another salvo of electricity. I did not want to rely on my weaker physical attacks this time especially since it started to speed up and begin to weather my hits more effectively. From time to time I would stumble over and get caught by a stray lightning bolt or fireball, but for the most part I found myself panting more and being more exhausted by flinging magic and running around more than getting hurt.
Rolling over, I growled at the Shadow and prepared one final bolt of electricity. As it seared through the Shadow, it began to spin around and shoot blazing fireballs at me more quickly as if in a panic. Some whizzed past me since I simply stood still, but I still let them sear through me as I countered with electricity of my own, and soon the charges was way too much for the Shadow, and it simply exploded. I sat on the ground, panting and watching as the castle Shadow faded away into nothingness.
