Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Sayu had been training. This wasn't "lift weights" training. Nor was it "touch dirty things without gloves" training. It was, though distantly, "run quickly and push legs" training. The girl was running low on paintballs. Whether she happened to come across a family or just managed to have some nasty luck, she had managed to get quite the following in the Citadel. That was all well and good. Followings were nice, after all. However, she preferred a following of the human variety. These Shadows? They were just the darkness to be burned away by the light. And, in truth, a number of them had received such a fate. Purged by the flames of judgement, smothered in darkness, frozen and shattered. Some were even purged with her new flashbangs- which were also running low.
The girl took a deep breath, calming herself. Tamamo-no-mae stood at her side. The mute was physically fatigued due to the constant running. However, mentally? She was pretty well set, despite the constant spew of magic. Spell Master and Spirit Drain helped with that.

There was another bunch of the ones she had been avoiding and blowing away. One was obviously ice-aligned, whereras the other's flame-covered body suggested the opposite. Clicking her tongue and moving, she began to put the flaming Shadow between herself and the icy titan. All the while, she willed for a Maragidyne. As expected, the flaming Shadow was immune, but the creaking of the giant behind it made for all the evidence she needed verify that it was the bigger threat. Flame was fired at her. Not thing to worry about. She responded by pelting the flaming rocking horse with paintballs. From the sound of things, the titan fired off an ice blast behind it, as well. Sandwiched between ice, the rocking horse Shadow squirmed in an awkward manner. Sayu didn't exactly find Shadows endearing. Especially not when they moved in odd and unpleasant ways. All the same, she willed for another Maragidyne, which, going by the sounds, melted the giant down into a puddle of blackness.
That left her with just the half-frozen rocking horse. She fired a few more rounds, further solidifying the ice cage's front, as she willed for a Die for Me! from Tamamo. The darkness wriggled and twirled, clawing up the Shadow's half-frozen form before wrapping it tightly and pulling it into the abyss. Whether it dissolved before the darkness faded or not was irrelevant to the girl. The fact of the matter was that the Shadow was gone.
