Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Sayu had, after the previous engagement, pressed on through the halls. She still had a number of Shadows attempting to track her, and there was very little she could do about it without just straight-leaving or blasting through the rest of the Shadows in one go. While her spells were good for crowd control, she really didn't feel comfortable trying to take on a full swarm of high-level Shadows. Maybe when she was a bit stronger, herself, but not at the present. She took a deep breath to steady both her pulse and her breathing pattern. Tamamo just stood by, giving the surroundings a good lookover. Unlike the human, the Persona wasn't effected by the physical fatigue of running around.

More time passed and more enemies appeared. If nothing else, this would prove to be an effective grinding session, she supposed. Both were fairly messy, which was surprising considering the environment. Either way, she willed for a Maragidyne, and the spew of explosive fire carpeted the area. Adding insult to injury, she fired her gun at the table. Shockingly, it proved to be weak to ice. Weak to ice, but vulnerable to fire? Whatever the case, the table shot a fireball, for all the good it did, and the pair of torture victims tried to poison her. It didn't get very far. With her fire proving to be effective, the girl had little to fear. Though she did make a mental note to try to Spirit Drain one of the two. Er, three? Whatever.
Willing for a second Maragidyne, the mute pelted the table with paintballs again. The one-two whammy of a major fire attack and a poke at its weakness did it in. On the other side, the pair tried to charge itself up for an attack. There would be none of that, though. The girl willed for darkness, and blackness shot forward, wrapping around a half of the pair. It constricted and crushed one of the twins. The darkness quivered and pulsed, as if chewing the substance, before dissolving it. The remaining half awkwardly shuddered before falling back. It seemed to be confused and unable to remain steady. The girl approached slowly.
”Spirit Drain. Drain. Drain, drain, drain.” It was seldom that they had a good chance like that, in which the target was definitely still alive, but prone. That was why she just continued ordering the drains as the kitsune behind her continued to drag on her pipe. The Shadow wriggled and squirmed awkwardly. It almost looked something like a mummy by the time the mute determined it had nothing more to offer. She just smiled. It wasn't the smile of a saint or an angel, nor a goddess of mercy or protective spirit. It was the smile of being of wrath and destruction, ready to snuff off the last embers of life that were before her.
”Thanks for the food.” Her phone produced, and she mouthed, in an almost cutesy manner. Then? She proceeded to stomp it. ”Now die. Die, die, die. Just die!” The stomping continued as the Shadow wriggled and gradually began to lose its shape. It was “dying”, and the mute was easing that along with her feet. Finally, the deed was done.
