Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Holly was feeling pretty good this week for the first time in awhile. Thus, she did a lot more exploring than usual, thus letting her collect much more scrap than usual. The one bag she normally used wasn't enough for it all, forcing her to drag a second large sack up to the strange blonde lady in the gap. It was annoying and cumbersome, but even that couldn't drag her down right now. It didn't take too long for her to make her way to where the blonde lady took it all. Hopefully she would find something useful in it.

Another week another pile of junk for the strange blonde woman in the gap. Holly was still mostly just checking out the sinkhole, so nearly all of her scrap was stuff she found laying around there, much like last week. Hopefully the woman didn't mind the repetitiveness of it all, but even if she did it was much worse for Holly than it was for her. After all, it's not like the strange blonde woman was actually exploring and collecting it all herself. While she wanted the woman to be happy with what she brought she didn't feel like she was in any position to complain about what was brought to her.

At this point Holly had given up trying to figure out exactly what the strange blonde woman at the gap was doing with all the junk she had been collecting for her. Most of it was completely useless and didn't seem to be at all magical, so she was completely baffled. She still continued to collect junk for her, it couldn't hurt right? If she was doing something with it then she might as well try to be helpful. She was going to explore anyway, so she might as well take a little bit of time to collect some interesting things laying around.

Routines were such boring things, but sometimes they were unavoidable. This was the time of week that her bags seemed to fill up, so going sooner would be a waste and going later would mean she'd waste some perfectly good junk. Holly knew she could just not come at all, it's not like she needed the money, but in the end she wanted to help out the people she viewed as allies more than she wanted to avoid being bored like this. It was a small price to pay in the end, so she continued heading up to the Gap at about the same time every damn week.

It was that time of the week again. Time to bring more junk to the weird blonde lady in the gap and time to resist the urge to try to sneak into the back room to see what she does with it all. It wasn't exactly easy to resist either as Holly was a very curious person and this had been bugging her for months now. Somehow, she managed to resist the urge for another week and just brought in another rather large sack of junk for her to do god knows what with.

It was a new week and Holly had found some extra shiny stuff due to the shiny golden shadow she fought earlier. It was just a little bit of shiny things because it was just one shadow, but that was still better than no shiny things. The rest of the junk was just the normal kinds of things she found laying around the library. Nothing very exciting, but then again most of the time the junk she collected wasn't very exciting at all. Really, it made her wonder what the strange blonde woman in the gap was doing with it all over again.

It was time to haul everything she'd found this week to the junk dealer to turn in for some extra cash. Cash she didn't care about personally, but still decided to grab to hopefully make a friend, even if that didn't appear to be happening. Holly couldn't read that strange blonde woman at all, even though she felt she was pretty good at reading most people. She was just...so strange. It's like half her actions were random and the other half were so cryptic that trying to figure out anything at all was just an exercise in futility. Regardless, she decided to bring junk to her anyway. In the end, it was still worth a shot.
